This is a great item to with your kreg jigs. Help’s you set the stop bushing on your drill bit. Works with all common wood thickness screw selection hard and soft woods and screw length I have never had to do any test drilling’s when I use the selector wheel.

We have been getting into woodworking and needed an easier way to determine which screws to use in our projects. This has cut quite a bit of research and trial/error time off of our builds. Also helpful, it lists the board thicknesses that are not compatible with pocket holes. It is a little high on price, but the materials make it seem like it is worth it.

I know some of the other reviews complain about this information can be downloaded and printed out blah blah blah..... but I like having it with my kreg jig and being able to quickly and easily find the correct screw and depth at a glance. One side is for L joints and the other side for T joints. Super easy to grab and instantly find what I need. For less than 5 bucks it’s totally worth it.

If you do much building with different size wood you will want one of these. This tool makes project planning and building much easier, no more trial and error. My tool is plastic covered cardboard while the new one is advertised as polypropylene that should result in longer life. For the materials used, this was a pricey but necessary addition to my Keg pocket hole system.

The instructions that come with a Kreg pocket hole jig are pretty good (if you keep them handy) but this Whiz Wheel is better. It's faster. It addresses more combinations. It's more clear about the type of joint you are making. At first I wondered if this was a necessary accessory for a Kreg jig. Now I'm glad I got it. Kreg should use a slightly larger font but I've been able to read it without glasses.

This product is useful for pocket screw size calculations. It works with Kreg and other pocket screw systems. Good price. Easy to use. Recommended if you are using pocket screws.

This is a good product if using Kreg screws without a Kreg jig to drill the holes. My jig came with a guide to what screws to use with what material. So This is not really needed unless you lose the instructions from the jig or if using another brand. Handy to have around for quick reference to choosing the correct screw for correct material. Seems pretty durable and will hold up to heavy use.

Handy reference card that seems durable. This chart is made of a thin flexible plastic that should be durable. It may do best hanging on the wall or inside a cabinet door, rather than tossed in a tool box to prevent bending, but I would not call it flimsy. It's plastic, not paper or cardboard. Yes, this information is available elsewhere, but this wheel is a convenience item. There are two sides, as seen in my photos: one for 90* edge joint, and one for butted together face joint. It is 9" in diameter, exclusive of the hanging tag.

The project that I completed had all the correct screw sizes shown on the plans. To do future projects, this guide shows me the limits of wood sizes that I can use and the correct screw sizes. It eliminates guesswork unless, of course, you are an expert and do this all the time.

Sometimes experience is not enough to accomplish the desired effect. This is the time one has to look up a reliable reference. This is what this screw selector provides and i am happy to have purchased it.

This wheel is much better than I thought it would be. It takes all the guess work and mystery out of selecting not only the right Kreg screws but shows the exact settings for the Kreg pocket hole tool in all board thicknesses. I love my Kreg Pocket Hole system.

Because it not metric I didn’t want it as I’m teaching young children how to pocket whole fixing, metric is what they use & I asked to cancel it but it still got sent and got changed 👎
