Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs

I have been familiar with Pastor Biltz's teachings for a few yrs from various prophecy sites. He does a great job of tying in Jewish OT teachings to todays Christian theology and helping us to see that we have been in error in our regards to the Jewish Feasts,.He opened my eyes to their importance to God, the implications of the feasts, both past and present, and why modern Christianity has missed the mark with our "pagan" holidays, Easter and Christmas, instead of keeping the God appointed feasts. It is very exciting to see and understand the truth of Gods word here and Mark does a great job in breaking it down for non Jewish believers, who would otherwise not know about this stuff. After being a Christian for 30 yrs, I had no clue about the feasts, as nobody teaches this stuff in our churches. For those in tune with prophecy, the now Blood Moon cycle that has just begun and concludes in fall of 2015, it will be very interesting to see if this it, finally for our Lords second coming, or if it's just another in a long line great books that seem logical and straight forward in regards to the Lords return, or if it is just another great effort to try and understand God's plan for end time events and misses the plan. And I do not mean that as a disparging remark against the book or Pastor Mark. On the feast teachings alone, this book is a 5 star and should be mandatory reading for all Christians.I 've just always found it interesting how so many great men of God, can have so many different teachings on our Lords return and all be so compelling, and yet so wrong. As always, time will tell. BTW, Pastor Mark is not saying this time frame is positively going to be the time of the Lords return. He very clear in that. His point is, everything sure seems to line up that way with current Blood Moon cycle. And though is seems logical and right, it's all up to God and his timing, not mans.

Really enjoyed the book. It has a lot of good information (but not exhaustive) on the Feasts, especially for those not familiar. There is no groundbreaking work here, as many Feast writings have already been published over the decades. Personally, I did not learn anything new here, but it is a nice write-up on Feast information in one concise book to get started with. The author sees many patterns in Scripture, of which there are many (by design) -- indeed. After careful Bible study, I CANNOT tie these "blood moon" tetrads the book relates to anything Biblical, though they are interesting when they have occurred or will occur in the future. As such, I feel the L-rd still can utilize this message as a "wake-up call" (perhaps last?) to those who want to study further the topics discussed and get to know Yeshua and His design and fulfillment of them. The book was written in a few short weeks. Given more time devoted to it, it could have easily been twice the size, if the author chose to include more material. He has the knowledge to do so. But, book deadlines are deadlines, from the publisher. I will leave "being critical" to the critics on this one (I could easily slam this book in a large write-up), but everybody will eventually be accountable for what they say--even the author of this book. Richard L. Evans once stated that "We can only know the truth if we are unafraid of it." or words to that effect. Apparently most Christians today are afraid of knowing the truth about the times we are living in. All that the majority can say with regard to the promised return of the Messiah is that "No one knows the day or the hour." Christ himself said that, but in the very same passage (Matthew 24) He gave them the parable of the fig tree, and told then (his apostles) in verse 33 "So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things [the various signs - including blood moons and the darkening of the sun], know that it is near, even at the doors." Elsewhere he chided the Pharisees for knowing the signs of the weather, but not the signs of the times. In other words, He was telling them how foolish they were to not watch for and discern them. So while Christians seem to have heard the fact that we cannot know "the day or the hour," we are specifically admonished by the Lord himself to watch for and know the signs of His coming. This book, like The Harbinger and The Shimetah, by Jonathan Cahn, documents some of the key signs, and places them in the context of our day. While I did not agree with (or understand) everything that Pastor Biltz presented, and felt that his explanations were at times unclear, the overall documentation of the facts, and how they fit in with the holy days established by God himself, sheds critical light on the key signs of the blood moons and solar eclipses. A must-read for all who are not afraid of the truth, along with The Harbinger and The Shimetah, by Jonathan Cahn. Tom Ballantyne - Author of Oh Really, O'Reilly! and Uncommon Sense, Apparently!

A friend from church had recommended this book a while back, but title through me for a loop since I did not understand what it meant. It has been very eye opening since I woke up at 3 am to see the moon turn blood red and seeing it take place on Passover put it in perspective for me as I try to understand what God is telling us. I thought Mark did a very good job at presenting the facts that we have from understanding the different feast, the Bibles point of view, the different calendars we follow, then finally showing us what NASA has discovered. I thought he had me when I was n ear the end of the book that it looked like he was making a prediction, but saved himself to point out what sees and what the signs have told us. I believe that only God knows the point and time of the Resurrection which Jesus has pointed out. Because this book was written recently it has dates that are upcoming, but again God is the only one who knows when the events will take place. I would recommend verify every Pastor or prophet with the Word of God to make they are speaking the truth. Do not not take a speaker for granted because they can put ideas in your head that may not be biblical.

Interesting and relevant. All Christians should read and understand the meaning of the signs in the heavens God set in motion at the point of creation and the significance of the Biblical calendar (Hebrew calendar) and the Biblical feasts (God's feasts/ appointed times not just Jewish feasts). Sadly, Christianity threw the proverbial baby out with the bath water when they separated from their Hebrew roots, when they ignored the Biblical calendar, and when they turned away from looking for the signs spoken of in scripture as a result of rejecting astrology. How can you see the signs when you aren't looking? How can you understand the significance of the timing of events when you are not using the calendar God has used through out scripture? Once historical events are synced/ overlaid with the Biblical calendar it is amazing how many statistically significant patterns are revealed. How can you truly understand the significance of the language used to describe Jesus'/Yeshua's first coming and the Biblical Spring feasts and the language to describe the end times and His second coming to the fall feasts if you don't think God's appointed times/ feasts were for all and not just the Jews. Mark Biltz does a phenomenal job of connecting these dots. This book is worth your time.

Mark Biltz has a way of teaching these important biblical truths that have long been tossed and lost in modern Christianity so simplistically, making it so easy to understand even for the younger and simplest of people. He truly is a gifted teacher. However, I must warn some folks, he mentions a few viewpoints in this book that are highly controversial, such as: He believes that King Solomon, son of David, was a type of antichrist (which I don't agree with and think is a waaaay out there ideology); and he also spends some time talking about Constantine and Martin Luther being anti-semitic; and of course then there is his strong belief that we should not call the Messiah by the name of Jesus, his english translation, but that we must call him by Yeshua (which personally I disagree with because I KNOW He answers to the name of Jesus as well as other Christians out there I know they strongly KNOW as well). But he is still our brother and I still love him. And despite some of the weird things I mentioned, it still was a terrific book worthy of 5 stars.

Even though they are different perspectives, and point of views of the popular 'Blood Moons' books by: John Hagee and Mark Biltz, both in their personal introductions of the coming phenomena: 'The Four Blood Moons'--are a highly detailed study; in both books the finale conclusions, resets for us a new view of our G_ds calender-time clock. each Man points out a correct time path which includes The Hebrew Festivals of our G_ds personal calender time frame. Mark Biltz and John Hagee's description of the [now] on going and [now] occurring event [is uniquely entertaining] each author, in my opinion, has taken commanded of their written performance, by revealing [in their own personal fashion], two finely tuned-point of views, of the Lunar, Solar, End Time Signs and wonders--Biblical Prophecies; in two awesome perspectives, both books are an excellent source of 'End of Time' information, revealing to us the realities of these phenomenal events. I highly recommend both books, they are a truly educational and fascinating read; A must read for the End Time Prophecy student and enthusiast.

A book that all Christians should read. However the book started out with a history of the authors family which wasn't pertinent to the topic of the book. Then the book talked about Hebrew which I didn’t think was pertinent to the book. Then the author talked about Jewish holidays and I was still scratching my head. When the author finally got to the subject matter of the book on page 30 I was captivated. An author usually tries to captivate his audience in the beginning of a book, this didn’t happen. The message that the author finally got to was interesting and well worth the read. The Bible states that the sun, moon & stars were created to us signals. Whenever the sun is in total eclipse, it is a bad omen for nations. When the moon is in total eclipse, it is a bad omen for Israel. The author warns Christians that we are not looking at God’s calendar, the Jewish calendar and therefore God will come as a thief in the night. If we become familiar with the Jewish calendar we can be forewarned.

Chris White makes good points about the hooplah to do with the unfortunate overkill however this book is packed with information very helpful and relevant to gaining a better understanding of the Hebrew Calendar and why that might be of interest to some. Great job - pity about the title and publicity circus.

This is indeed a must have and read book! I first come in contact with Pastor Mark's teachings, when I ordered "The Feasts of the LORD" DVD and Book, from another website. Since then (three years ago) I have been watching faithfully every Sabbath Torah Teaching and Monday night Bible study on line @ <www.elshaddaiministries.us>. This book is all that teaching in a nut shell! I have ordered mine - book and DVD - at their site and I got it autographed. But I ordered seven more copies from Amazon.ca, just to give presents to my family and friends. Everybody needs to know about this! We must all do our part to share the Good News! I would suggest, that Amazon should carry the Biblical Calendar from El Shaddai as well.

A fascinating book, which includes the author's own account of how he became a disciple of Jesus. There was a chapter on Hebrew letters and words which while interesting I'm still trying to figure out the relevance of, but once he gets into the astronomical stuff it's really gripping. I took this on holiday with me and couldn't put it down. Now I'm riveted to every bit of news that comes out of the Middle East, and seriously thinking I may see the return of Christ in my lifetime, depending on how long I live, of course (I'm 64). Biltz sensibly doesn't do any date-setting but the material presented here, together with what's going on in the world and all the eschatological information we have in the Bible, leaves me more convinced than ever that the time is short.

This is by far the best book on end time prophecy. The biblical references are very accurate. This book is very thought-provoking and should be read by every human being who's got a pulse. Not to be missed ay all cost!
