How deep are the treads on the model 6210 10-foot ladder?

I do not have a 10-foot ladder. Only have two 6-foot and one 8-foot version. All have 3-inch steps. Love all of them.

Will the 5' ladder work for changing track lights on a 9' ceiling? I need the smallest possible since storage in my apt is limited.

The five footer is sweet. Saves space but handles the weight. Yeah, working track lights even on a 9' ceiling should work. Try to stand no higher than the second step from top. I use it on the electrical crew and the other guys have 4 footers and often want mine to give that extra height without the weight of a 6 footer. Good luck. Be safe.
