My boiler requires a 5amp fuse is this timer ok to use with a 5 amp fuse

The timer will work on a minimum 3amp

Does it fit a standard backplate

The THR860SWE has the same wiring as the ST9400C so it should work on the same back plate.

Does this retain settings after a power cut?
