SO WORTH IT
Absolutely so cute!! Just like the pictures, but if using markers it can bleed through- just put another paper under the page you’re coloring on. Such a great buy👏🏼

Cute
I love the pictures in this book. The pictures are really adorable which it makes it hard to decide which picture to start coloring. I did find some of the pictures the lines were a little light compared to other books it is one sided with white pages instead of the black pages some books have. I’d buy it again just for the pictures.

Super cute coloring pages
My daughter says she loves every baby animal in this coloring book. Each coloring page has pretty intricate scenes so she spends a lot more time coloring each page than in most coloring books that just have an animal and super simple background.

Cute. Good value for price.
I'm an adult "colorist" using coloring as a form of occupational therapy for my injured dominant hand, so this review is in context to my experience. I've never purchased from this publisher before. This book is printed on thin, rather smooth paper. For comparison, if readers are an experienced adult colorist, the paper most closely matches a thinner version of Dover Publicatons' Creative Haven paper. Because of the lack of texture (tooth) to the paper, I'm not sure how many layers of pigment very seriously artistic colorists could build up using soft core, blendable pencils without using solvents (I didn't try that hard and only used a few light layers). The images are printed on single sides (and the reversed side is white, not black), with non-perforated paper. I like the fact that this book has not only the "This book belongs to" plate on the inside cover, but two blank pages at the back, because these areas make good areas for experimenting with media. The paper took Sharpies (which are alcohol-based) pretty well over a small area. I usually only use Sharpies for small accent areas. When I tested a water-based marker over a small area (Crayola's Super Tip), the paper didn't hold up well. The paper did take Wanshui (a.k.a Guang Hui, an oil-based budget- friendly pencil), Schpirerr Farben (oil-based), and Prismacolor Premiere (wax-based) well. I did not try any blending or burnishing pencils, or solvents. If review readers choose to use wet media, such as markers or gel pens, or using solvent blending agents (alcohol, baby oil, mineral spirits, petroleum jelly, and so on) they probably should use cardstock behind pages to protect the other pages, or consider removing their working page from the book, or consider pre-prepping the pages with a fluid-tolerant treatment. I personally wish the pages were perforated, because I find that I quickly, unintentionally dog-ear books (and often damage uncolored pages) as I color, if I don't remove pages and use a clipboard to color. My dominant hand is unreliable, so I'm reluctant to use a utility knife and ruler to remove pages. The images are cute and I really like most of them. I'm pleased with my purchase and have already colored a few pages. A good value for the money because this is an omnibus of four coloring books.

purpose
With the review before purchase, I pretty well knew what I was going to get. I was not disappointed with the variety of choices. These pictures will be used as patterns for applique sewing projects. They should make adorable baby quilts for little ones in the hospital, don't you think?
