Strong
First time trying these type of bags out and they are as expected. The downside is they are hard to open and close. The zippers are very strong! Drying takes awhile, have to be proppped open, upside down.

Had for a year
Some have succumbed to over use. But I am loving these replacements for plastic bags, we haven’t bought sandwich bags or gallon zips in a year. Easy to clean I put some dish soap in and fill with water, zip up and shake. I let it sit for a little while if the item had grease or maybe scents I want out. Then I use a bottle brush to sweep down into the bottom bag grooves and make sure I get the food out. We have a lot of water bottles we use too so I just pop these on the ends to dry.

Awesome, but a mess to clean
I love these, but they are very hard to clean and never feel like they dry completely. If the water is too hot, they will melt, which stinks. However, they’re great for non food related items!!

A Better Baggie
I've been washing plastic disposable baggies for years because throwing them away seems like such a waste, but eventually they get too worn and get tossed. I have dreamed of a heavier, more durable, bag for a long time. I LOVE these bags. They keep things in the freezer fresher longer and I like that they are thicker and stiffer than a disposable bag. Someone in the reviews mentioned seeing ice crystals on their homemade dog food after 3 days in the freezer in these bags and called it freezer burn. It is NOT freezer burn. If the food had moisture and there was some air in the bag, ice crystals happen naturally - probably a vaccum seal would be the only way to not have some ice crystals. Just try to find a bag of frozen veggies in the store without some ice crystals - I double dare you. Freezer burn is that nasty condition of the food getting dried out over prolonged time in the freezer. When I buy any frozen fruit or veg, I put it into these bags right away rather than storing in the original packaging. I have noticed that my freezer has lost that funky freezer smell since using these bags, which pleases me greatly. Sometimes I have to work the edge of the seal open patiently as I wish my fingers were stronger (I have older, mildly arthritic hands) but I would rather have a bag with a tight seal than a bag with a poor seal. You will spend far more than $20 on disposbale bags over the course of a year, so why not try these?

Durable
I really love these! They are so durable, easy to clean, and air tight! I live in a tropical country and things get stale so quickly because of the humidity. But not in these!

Stops closing after a while. . . .
I have had these for about a year and they were great for 8ish months. Then the seal stopped working well. After a bag was used and washed so many times, I guess the pieces at the top got bent out of shape and stopped working. They still reduced plastic waste, but now I have to replace them too.
