Salt Cell Cleaning Stand - Pool Guy Supply

This product worked perfectly for me. As far as the nay sayers that complained it would tip over, all I can say is if you just look at the unit you can see it has a very small base. All you do is prop it up in a bucket and away you go. I don't know why anybody would attempt to use this or any other cleaning stand without putting it in a bucket to contain any spillage from the caustic cleaning solution. As far as leakage from the unit there was none. You hand tighten the union and then give it a 1/8 to 1/4 turn with a wrench just as you do when you reinstall it and there is no leakage. I always used a 4 to 1 muratic acid to water, and when I was using a 5 gallon bucket that meant I used almost a gallon of muratic acid. with this unit I only used a quart and 4 quarts of water and I still have solution left over. I would give a extra star and highly recommend.

Excellent addition to any pool maintenance kit. Allows easy, mess-free cleaning of your pool's salt generator cell. Use mine on our Hayward salt cell and now clean it much more regularly than I did before with a jury-rigged setup.

Easy to use for cleaning the pool salt cell. Minimizes the amount of acid needed for cell cleaning. Prevents having to use a open pan and getting the salt cell cable and it's seal submerged in the acid bath.

I really like it. It does the job well and was the lowest cost I found. Would have given a 5 if the stand base was larger. But the risk of turning it over can be mitigated by standing it in a bucket.

I tried this product because i was tired of the poorly made products the pool store sells. this product is solid and works great.

Works perfect. No leaks. I wish I'd know about it years ago. Unfortunately, my salt cell died, must remember to buy new cell
