AquaClear 20 Activated Carbon Inserts, 3-Pack

Effective foam filters to use in a 3 stage filter system. Helps maintain water quality and clarity. No Assembly required. Longevity is better than marketed. I'm able to reuse these foam sponge filters by rinsing them in tank water until all the crud is rinsed out (DO NOT rinse in tap water or all the beneficial bacteria will be killed) These sponges can also be cut down to fit smaller off brand filter systems, and at end of life span they are good for a quick tank cleaning to remove algae from glass, etc.

I’ve been using the AquaClear 20 Activated Carbon Inserts for a while now, and they never disappoint! The 3-pack is a great value. The carbon works incredibly well at keeping the water healthy for my fish. Highly recommend for anyone using an AquaClear 20 filter. Reliable, clean, and worth every penny!

Very great product

This foam, which I’ve switched to, has been a game-changer. When I decided to give this a try, I compared it to the expensive big brands I used to buy. Surprisingly, it was the exact same thing. If you’re looking to save a bit of money on your tank filters, give us a go!

First of all, I really love the quality of the AquaClear pump. Bumping up the pump size on my existing tank, makes for a consistenly cleaner tank, happier fish (yes there is such a thing) and a pump that also runs cleaner since it is designed for a much larger tank. Problem though is the inserts (filter, charcoal, and BioMaxx) are also designed to service a larger tank. The preportioned biomaxx and charcoal are too much for a smaller tank so you need to cut back in these areas if you super-size the pump. As to the charcoal, I don't know what is going on but on the small tanks, the charcoal is clean out of the box. The 2 different boxes that I have used at this size require serious rinsing of the charcoal packs before placing in the tank. The amount of black water and charcoal stained hands from this is a real problem. That said, if you take the time to rinse all of the black out of the charcoal prior to placing in the tank, you will have good activated charcoal, a great additional filter, and your fish will be around to enjoy

Really effective in catching the gunk that escapes carbon filters

Good for fish tank

Great

Was soll hier viel rezensiert werden?

thankyou

You really have to watch what you order and what you get. These are the actual carbon filters needed for a AQUACLEAR 110 Filter. I have received Fluval 110 filters as replacement from other suppliers but they are a lot shorter. These are the proper filters. Thank you!

Great carbon, same as you would buy in the pet store. Would recommend this to anybody looking for a great product.
