Not bad for the price
I would have given this 5 star's if it wasn't for a few nigly issues. Although it has a very nice mechanism to lock in each angle of the bends when fully closed up the sections are not locked and they move and fall away from the fully closed arrangement which is very irritating. That aside they work well in most other setups and they are resenobly light for carrying and moving around the only other thing that would be nice is if wieght spreading/stabilizing foot bar was clipped in somehow for easy removal when not required.

Good, but don't expect them to be ideal for your stairs
Pros: Heavy and solid Good construction Lots of angles to adjust to Cons : Locking mechanism only likes certain angles Can be a bit fiddly I mainly purchased these for use in my stairs, initially I was after an A Frame, with one side being higher/lower than the other. Be aware this isn't an option! In the diagram it has the A-Frame with the last section almost horizontal, great on the bottom of the stairs, unsafe 1 rung or more upward. The only way to be useful and safe, is to have it all flat like a ladder but the last section 90 deg, then lean against the wall. Solid, safe and the top section is great to place one of the plastic boards on that come with it, for a shelf for paint. The diagrams of use are quite misleading. They don't tell you heights, and the stair illustration is suitable for the bottom 3 steps, but useless like this in any other height. (unless your painting your dolls house!) All in all not a bad purchase, but I gave it 3 stars as I bought it for stairs, and it's practically on stairs is very limited and may not suit all. Not used them for other purposes yet, but they do look practical

Ladder is very good but doesn't seem to work at all the angles pictured
I need this ladder for working on a stairwell. It is good quality and very sturdy. I feel very safe and the working boards are great for holding items while working or decorating. I am knocking off one star because the ladder does not flex to all the angles advertised. It is also pretty heavy. Overall though, a good, sturdy safe ladder.
