They were a little hard to get on but they are way better then tube tires by far

The office is great. Do know that these kind of wheels despite their honeycomb structure are hard but by ready hard and cannot bed compared to the ride comfort (shock absorption) of an air filled tire.

These are a pain to install, no doubt about it! At a boil, it took 20 minutes to get soft enough for installing. I used Vaseline petroleum jelly to lube them, along with tremendous force and the provided tire pry bar. Once on, they had to be popped into place all the way around with a screwdriver, but that was the easy part. They feel and ride well, so now that they're on I am enjoying them.

Tires seem to be good quality. Installation was challenging, but I was able to do it myself. I boiled the tire for 30 minutes, put on my work gloves, then used screw drivers through the holes and the supplied tire iron to lever it on the rim. While working I put the rim on top of the 2nd tire, which allowed the axel to have space underneath the rim while I worked and kept the rim level.

Installed this on my Gotrax GXL v2. I followed the installation instructions and got this on in a matter of minutes. I heated the tires up in the microwave instead of boiling. Adding lube helped a lot too. I was prepared for a battle after reading about installation struggles from the reviews, but it was actually quite easy to install. Tires ride great too!

We purchased these tires to replace the original tire on his ev scooter that got flat after few rides. This is a solid rubbee tire and very difficult to stretch and get then install on the wheel. We spent 3 to 4 hours and gave up on it and now sitting in the garage.

All the warnings are true! This was MUCH harder to install than anticipated. I watched youtube videos before trying but still couldn't get it mounted on the first day with the 1 tire iron supplied and tire boiled for 10 mins. But bought 2 more tire irons from autozone, boiled tires in boiling water for 20 minutes and got the job done the next morning. Because this is universally tough, I LOVED the many creative ways other people used to mount the tires, from plastic lock straps to strategically drilling down tires to force tire to wheel rim.***Notes***-To get the front wheel nuts off with tiny wrench supplied, I put a metal closet rod over wrench for more leverage.-Boil tires for at least 20 mins to make more flexible.-Place cardboard on floor to protect floor-Place tire on cardboard, apply dish soap on inside tire-Angle one side of rim into tire at 6 o'clock position-Position three tire irons at 9, 12, 3 o'clock position (will be at an angle)-Straiten tire irons, expanding tire over lip of rim-Push down on tire to slide over lip of rim.-May the force (pun intended) be with you!-Repeat for other tire.-Mount tires. Position Front tire washers closest to rims, then scooter fork frame, then nuts. Tires should spin freely.

Estas llantas me han ahorrado mucho dinero, el estado sólido ha permitido que tenga mayor estabilidad en las calles de mi ciudad y aparte la sensación del viaje es más placentera.

Le démontage de la roue arrière s'est fait avec difficulté car la vis était gripée et il a fallu utilisé un tournevis de frappe (que j'ai dû acheté en plus) pour la décoincée. Etant donné que cette roue n'est pas liée par un cable, ce fut la plus facile des 2 roues. Après avoir chauffé le nouveau pneu 3 minutes au micro-ondes, mon épouse et moi avons résussi à insérer le pneu en seulement 10 minutes. Mais le pneu avant fut une toute autre affaire; nous avons réussi après une heure d'efforts acharnés. Nous étions complètement épuisés, et si vous n'êtes pas un champion de body building, je pense vraiment que c'est impossible à monter en étant seul.
