Great pen, but received one instead of the advertised 12. I could of got a pack of 2 at this price.

These are my favourite pens. They are lovely to write with on paper, and also especially good for drawing on fabric, i.e., for drawing around patchwork templates.

I rage-bought a box of these after being on a phone call, unable to find a pen, lol. These are my fave and I've bought many boxes over the years. Comfortable in the hand, the silicone-like coating offers a good grip, and the barrel is the perfect size and thickness for average size hands. No skips or blobs of ink. They come in blue and black ink, and fine or medium point. I like them all. Some fine point pens feel scratchy; these always have a smooth writing quality. I think I read on Wirecutter that these are also Ralph Nader's favorite pen, and he's picky to the point of obsession. Maybe I am too, since I scoff at other pens.

Dependable pens for signing and schoolwork. Smooth to write with, and no smudging even for left handers. Great for school exams.

I have, for many years, searched for a pen I could use all day. No, really. I took paper and pen notes in college, and used mediocre pens. I took paper and pen notes in grad school, and used a reasonable pen (some inhouse type from Staples). One wonderful day (yes, I am dead serious, a wonderful day; keep reading) I got an offer from Uniball: free pen. I received a red Jetstream RT. I immediately began seeking out black ones. What I love about these pens: the solvent used to make the pen glide means VERY little pressure is needed as you write, so you can easily write a lot and for long periods of time without the soreness that comes from pressing down with a cheap pen all day. The grip itself is quite comfortable, and the pen is large enough that those with any size hand should be happy with it. The ink is remarkable. It shares a few things in common with permanent marker ink, so it will not wash out; these are great for signing checks for that reason, and of course if you spill something on what you've written there will be a little yellow bleeding, but the original marks will still be as clear as day. Additionally, the ink dries RIDICULOUSLY fast (that same great solvent) so even LEFTIES will be pleased. Finally, and among my favorite features, the ink does NOT bleed through the page while you're writing. If you're feeling particularly green, you can buy ink refills on Amazon and most office supply places for these pens. Unplanned feature: the pens will actually survive a clothes washing incident WITHOUT leaking all over your garments. The pen will likely be kaput, but to have no ink marks on clothing is a really great thing. This has happened twice. I literally took paper notes through the entirety of law school, and this was the pen I used for 90% of that time. They are often sold in 3 packs of a single color or the office combo (red, blue, and black). Look around on Amazon for the 12 packs of these pens if you fall in love the way I did. I came to find that for taking notes in law school (and again, I used these almost since day 1), I preferred the 1.0 mm Jetstream RTs. For exams (including a bar exam), I used the 0.7mm Jetstream RTs. I hope this helps someone. I really cannot oversell these pens or overstate how pleased I continue to be with them. Edit: Used a Jetstream RT to take the MA bar exam. Passed. Was as comfortable as I could be with such smooth-writing instruments all day long.
