Let me Begin by saying this is a great axe for the price. Came decently Sharp. The wood was raw with no seal on it which is no problem I put a clear coat on mine. I also painted my ax head red. All in all it has been a great tool. It has been a irreplaceable tool for me building a little shelter out in the woods for the last 2 weeks worth of testing. The only bad side is is the sheath that comes with it is poorly made. After sharpening my ax a little bit more it cut right through the sheath which is also no problem because zip ties came in clutch. Anyways great little project ax if you don't want to spend a whole lot of money feels good in the hand and I have cut down many trees with it. The only thing I would say is bad about the ax is it not having any kind of clear coat on the wood and the sheath. All in all very great product very satisfied with my purchase.

Bought this for a camping trip, it worked pretty good at just cleaning off tree limbs, it also splits pretty good too. I used a wooden mallet to hit the back of the axe and the wood started to strip so maybe just wrap it in electrical tape. I'd give it a 7.6/10 in total. Great for the price

Good little hatchet. I sanded the handle it was a bit shiney and slick. I wrapped it in paracord then just refined the edge. I only refined it to be a smoother cutting edge I didn't really hone it to sharpness.A hatchet is used to split fire wood or knock of small branches from bigger logs so it doesn't need to be razor sharp. Only time a razor sharp edge is needed on an axe is to fell trees and you don't use a hatchet for that.Then I took it camping and it performed well. So for it's intended purpose it works fine, as fine as you'll need a hatchet to work.

This was exactly what I needed. Does the job and isn’t expensive, good balance, good fit and grip, and sharp blade is great. Easy to use and good value.

Sharp, fits in the hand comfortably, and is high quality.

Seem good for the price, one of my axe heads is loose though
