Great solid wireless camera
I already have two other YI/Kami indoor cameras and was waiting to buy the Outdoor wireless version for a while but it was delayed due to Covid.Delivery via Prime was quick, albeit Amazon, please stop using Hermes delivery. The guy threw it over the fence! Luckily it’s boxed and packed well. The camera is quite heavy with the included batteries but that matters not as it’s fixed to the brick wall. Installation was easy, 3 holes on the mental bracket. Done.Batteries took around 3/4 hours to fully charge and they arrived 30%.The camera is 1080p and provides a good solid clear picture in HD. The very wide angle is good, make sure you choose landscape mode on your phone or rotate it to see how wide it actually is!I had some issues setting up to Alexa Echo show, only because you have to choose KAMI from the skills and games and not YI Home app as it suggests. But after I figured that out it was SO easy to set up and add the camera, it took 10 seconds!I have placed a 64gb memory card into the camera rather than the cloud. The camera works off heat from humans and animals as PIR motion and has a sound sensor/microphone. Recordings you can set for between are 6-60seconds.Night vision works good with clear infrared and even picks up little movements like neighbours cats. For the price, the camera I feel is excellent. It works with Alexa echo show very well, and again so easy to get up. I have includes some images. I can control all my YI/Kami products from one app.I would buy another one but am waiting for maybe a Black Friday deal and hopefully will be half price. I can’t comment on the battery life as of yet but they are supposed to last 3+ months. Very good if they do

Not a bad camera, but some drawbacks
I already have some Yi cameras (same manufacturer, different branding) including a wired external camera. I wanted to add a camera to the side of the house where there wasn't a power supply so went for this wireless one.Plus points:Easy to installNo need for wiringWorks with the Yo app I already use for my other camerasI did consider sending this camera back several times. The battery life is nowhere near the advertised 'up to 3 months', I get maybe 1 month at best. The alerts were initially very sporadic, this was fixed when I installed an additional wireless access point closer to the camera so it does seem to have poor connectivity by comparison to the other cameras I have. Recording is only 6 seconds regardless of whether you install an SD card... To get up to 60 seconds you need to subscribe to the cloud service. So some good, some bad... Ultimately, the convenience of a wireless device is going to come at a cost but the flexibility of being able to site this camera anywhere tipped the balance for me.

Use it anywhere!
This item arrived safe and well packaged. This is a great wireless security camera that can be used anywhere, inside or out.Included in the box was a very well built camera, charger, rechargeable battery packs and mount. A very well laid out instruction book is also included. This has all the details needed to connect and operate all aspects of this camera. It's got plenty of pictures and screenshots included so it's easy to know you're doing the right thing. It was very easy to find the app (there's a QR code in the instructions or it's easily searchable) and download it to my phone through Play Store. Once registered the camera connected within seconds. It was extremely straightforward. The app is full of gadgets, and can fully control the camera from anywhere you've got internet signal. You can record, change filters, change resolution, listen in, talk through etc etc. It's packed with features as listed in the product spec. This has a good sensor that can be used to trigger recording when someone is detected in the area. There are options within the app to get this all set up exactly how you want it. The recording resolution is great and very clear. This is one of the most advanced cameras that I've used. It can literally be positioned anywhere, and just recharged whenever the battery is running low. It is totally waterproof and mounts very easily.I highly recommend this product.

Poor Battery life and mount
Battery life is poor, weird size battery so cant seem to get a second set. Mount doesn't offer enough movement to actually see the front door, just the neighbours hedge and half our drive. Motion detection although set on highest, doesn't pick up post women or dpd drivers but does seem to get us when we leave and come back and neighbours cat at early hours of the morning! Dont bother getting

Good picture, PIR range a bit short, batteries take a couple of cycles to get to full power.
It's a great camera for the price I paid when it was on offer. The rechargeable batteries initially lasted less than a week on full charge, then 3 weeks, now it's been nearly 2 months since last charge and they're still on 50%.I think the trick is to let them run right down and make sure they get a couple of full charge cycles. The memory card seems to get corrupt from time to time, but as it's cloud storage that's not a big problem. The only actual issue with the camera is that the PIR is less sensitive than I'd hoped, as it needs to be reasonably near any movement. It's a shame it's not visual motion detection, but I realise that would quickly drain the battery.Seems very rugged, and looks good but discreet.I'd definitely buy it again on offer, not so sure about full price.

Look for alternative
Good picture and battery life but for some reason it doesn't record or detect movement all the time which is annoying. Sd card installed too. The rest button is in a stupid spot which is on the outside.
