am i right in thinking that i can watch a different channel in a different room by using fitting this device in ?

Don't take this as gospel but I was told by my satelite engineer that this device combined with the magic eye only serves as an extension. You can change the channel from another room but it will be the same channel to all devices.Hope this helps.

Can this work with the sky q box?

My sky box got upgraded to the latest one, that was just before sky Q, Sky has altered something inside the box and mine stoped working I even tried a replacement still didn't work,so no I wouldn't think it would work with skyQ ... sky wants everyone to spend money on multi room😡

Is this a tight fit on drx890w. My Mum's sky box has one of these made by Tv-link and the fitting is so loose it is regularly falling out

Hi Yes I've had a similar experience, and this seems to be the same though its usually only when I move the TV.....I havent been able to find any that are manufactured tighter for some reason....!! So I've had to get a little bit creative, using gaffa tape, cut into strips to "tape the box to the telly" with a number of the strips and that has sorted it. Not pretty or tidy though does the job of keeping it in and in place, no one else knows I've done this so they dont care, its only me that knows..... Hope this helps Thanks Alan
