Fire & Flavor Spices Rub, Classic Rub, 2.7 Ounce

I have had soy and ginger seasoning before, but this brand is overpowered by the amount of pepper in the rub. I want to taste the soy and ginger. I actually like pepper in rubs, but unfortunately there is too much pepper you cannot taste the soy/ginger.

Was at a restaurant and burger was made with a coffee rub, was skeptical but flavor was excellent. Very happy to find a coffee rub, tried it and pleased with flavor it delivered. Use it on any type of meet especially beef and pork. Use it on my pork shoulder that I smoke for pulled pork. Excellent product.

I am a big cowboy/coffee steak rub fan and often create my own but I decided to give this a try. I like it, but it has a cinnamon or nutmeg quality that is a little strong for me, and I don't taste as much coffee as I normally like. It doesn't have a lot of heat and I liked that actually, because it would have downplayed some of the other earthy notes in the mix. I think this will be interesting to pair with other flavors too, so I am looking forward to trying some experiments using this as the base rub.

I know my way around the kitchen and grill, and I've eaten all across the country, and after trying this on multiple occasions I can't escape the painful truth: this rub tastes like dirt. I'm not sure if it needs more salt, some sugar, or what, but I simply cannot achieve satisfaction with this rub.

I bought this one time at Kroger on sale and loved it. The next time I went back it was gone and they didn't restock it. I couldn't find it at any other stores. I finally found it on their website, but Amazon's price beat theirs. It really seasons fish and other food really well. In my opinion, it sells out because there are not that many seafood seasonings available that are non-gmo (I'm always on the lookout for food that has not been genetically modified) and this one tastes great. The one for salmon is also wonderful.

Great taste and flavor. Doesn't seem to overpowered. I just add a bit more ginger and sesame seeds to the mix and works great for teriyaki habachi marinade reduction. Buying my second container of the stuff today!

Liked the flavor and you will too.I have tried a lot of meat rubs and this is the best.Not overpriced and really enhances the taste.
