Love the shower drain cover!
Bought this for the white plastic show drain cover, which works great! I got tired of unclogging our shower drain every 6 months, and the shower drain cover does a great job of catching both my long hair and my husband's medium (for a guy) hair. It will definitely cause the water to drain more slowly, but we minimize that by keeping it cleaned out every couple of days - just wipe the hair off with a piece of toilet paper. Our tub/shower has a lift-and-turn type drain stopper, and the cover didn't fit over it, so we just removed the stopper. It doesn't move around at all when we turn the water on, and stays put while showering. It does tend to have scum build up under it, so just be sure to keep the bottom of the cover clean.I ended up also using the large 4.5" mesh strainer in our kitchen sink, and the 2.75" mesh strainer was a good fit in a vegetable sink. They work fine. :)

Absolute great profuct
So far these have worked perfectly. As others have stated, there's one small one that doesn't seem to fit any of my drains; but it doesn't matter since I can use all the others the help catch my long hair and presumably stop having to call in the plumber every six months to get the drains unclogged. If you have an older house where I assume they never made any contingency for hair blocking your drains this is the answer. Don't know if the newer sinks and bath/shower fixtures have caught on to the need of strainers to stop long hair from clogging the drains.Just a note to anyone as uninformed as I was - for my bath this strainer goes over the drain - upside down instead of sitting in the drain the way it does in my kitchen sink. Until my husband came along and corrected me, I kept trying to put it inside the bath/shower drain. If these works, as they probably do - that's a savings of a lot of money over a year in having to have someone come in and snake the drains. Our house was built originally in the 30's and updated in the mid 60's - so I think the older plumbing fixtures were actually built with turns that got completely stopped up once enough hair collected in them.

Works quite well.
I use both the mesh and the plastic strainer in my tub. What the plastic does not catch the mesh does a great job at. Have to be sure to clean after each shower, especially the mesh. The mesh is very fine and it does such a good job at catching lint and hair the water does not drain very fast if it's not clean. They are easy to clean especially using an old toothbrush. I use a mesh one in my bathroom sink and again it does a great job. I tried the kitchen mesh and went back to my old one as I find the rim to skinny and things go underneath it.

Shower drains slowly with this hair catcher
The hair catcher works, I guess, but I have to clean off all the hair after every shower my wife takes, or else the tub doesn't drain well. And it slows down the drain even without hair. Not sure what would improve it, but I think having bigger holes would help. The holes are very small and are easily blocked by any amount of hair, lint, gunk...Otherwise it seems like a good product. It's nice and sturdy and kind of rubbery, so definitely not a brittle, breakable thing. The wire drain strainers are nice, but hard to clean. I've been using the large one in the kitchen sink, but I prefer my other one, with a silicon cup that you can invert and easily empty out and clean.

Useful sizes - All of these work great! I slightly bent the stainless steel strainer so it would lay flat in the sink
I'm glad I purchased these. I'm using 3 out of the 4.I use the 5" white one (Made in the USA) and the large stainless steel strainers in my kitchen sinks.I bent the edges of the stainless steel one so it would lay flat in the sink.We have an older home & the sinks' 20' drain pipe doesn't have quite enough 'fall' so any little bit of debris that gets down the drain can potentially cause a clog. These strainers catch everything. To clean them, I give them a good 'rap' against the trash can which knocks out just about all the debris. Sometimes a small, stubborn piece clings to the strainer. I can usually get it out using a tiny crinkled up piece of paper. When I shampoo my hair in the bathroom sink, I place the 2.75" strainer in the drain to catch my hair. It works great! The smallest, 2" strainer fits the drains in our utility sink. We already had strainers so don't need to use this one.I'm glad I purchased these.

Good but can be hard to clean
After paying a plumber 200+ dollars to unclog my drain, I decided it was time to invest in something to prevent this from happening again. These work pretty well, and I like that the bathroom sink and kitchen sink ones are metal, but all of them are tricky to clean. You can put the metal ones in the dishwasher, but unfortunately can’t do the same with the tub one. If you’re willing to put in a little elbow grease to keep them clean, they’re a good buy.

Less maintenance calls to this apartment!
As someone with long hair that has clogged more than one drain, I finally had enough. I ordered this specifically for the 5" pop up drain. It's perfect for my apartment bathroom, and despite my hesitancy at the size of the holes it has caught many hairs, for which I'm glad.I did try and use it with a metal one for extra coverage but they don't fit flush enough. It's easy to put in, after I turn on the water it lied flush with my sink. When I'm done I lift it up, no suction, and pull the hair right off.I have accidentally dropped a cup and while it moved to the side it didn't come off the drain or leave a gap.

Good quality for both the hair catcher and cover!
Works well for the price. The hair catcher seem to stay in place (we have the flat metal plate for the drain area) and does drain pretty well. It's definitely helped to reduce the clog that's unfortunately have to blame my g/f's hair that seem to cause an issue including the bathroom sink. We also are using the large and medium sink strainer as we don't have a sink disposable unit underneath. I kind of wish this came with two large strainer but not a big deal as even the medium size strainer works just fine.I guess time will tell how long the hair catcher especially will last. I replaced the drain lever and the metal plate as it was aging and was not functioning properly.
