Being in the metalwork cnc industry I needed a reliable hardness tester. This one's been a game-changer because of the importance of knowing how hard the metal is to make sure it can cut smooth. The precision and range of metals it can test – from aluminum to brass to stainless steel – have made on-site checks a breeze. Lightweight, easy to use, and the results are spot on. Every craftsman working with metals should consider one.

The instructions are unclear. It would be nice to have a reference chart for what the relative hardness is in the different scales it measures. Setting up the stand-up bracket is difficult without breaking it.

First, let me say that this is the only hardness detector I've ever purchased. That being said, I can't necessarily weigh this based against other products. What I can say is that from my experience this has been the perfect product. It comes in its own carrying case, which I've learned is very convenient. So far the detection rate seems pretty spot on. It's easy to carry, easy to use, easy to read. I have zero complaints.

No more guessing if produce is ready to consume. This device has everything included to inform the user of many different specifications regarding fruit. Great gift for anyone who takes pride in the quality of the fruit they eat and/or serve. Highly recommended.
