Q: I see some reviews from awhile back that say this now contains gums. Goya’s website currently says no gums are added, so I’m confused? 1/11/18

Hi there, no wonder you're confused. I ordered the product pictures, which is Goya's No Gums version of coconut milk, and received the ones WITH gums. So Amazon has it confused. But it's true: Goya does make a version Sin Gomas–Without Gums. Our local supermarket stocks it once in a while, but also doesn't seem to appreciate the difference. Hope that helps.

Q: Bpa free lining in cans?

There is a coating on the inside of the cans, but it does not say "BPA-free" anywhere. It is a product of the Dominican Republic, if that tells you anything.

Q: Where are the ingredients?? Does this contain sugar????

"Ingredients: coconut milk, water, potassium metabisulfite (as a preservative). Contains: tree nuts. Contains: Sulfites" I don't see any sugar in the ingredient list, but the nutrition facts list 7 servings per container and 2 grams of sugar per serving (probably naturally occurring in the coconut milk)

Q: The image shows a yellow label stating no gums added; i received a can with guar gum (no yellow label) sept 2021. which is it -- gums or not?

The current formulation (as of December 2022) does NOT contain guar gum. Ingredients: coconut milk, water and potassium metabisulfite (as a preservative.)
