As good as the Nissan one
As good as the original Kicks one. The Kicks one had gone wrong as they do, and cleaning it didn't solve the underlying issue, so I got this as a replacement and so far (more than 6 months in) its working as it should. It helps to have an OBD reader to make sure the sensor is faulty.

Hitachi brand is OEM for Nissan and Infiniti as well as a lot of others
Hitachi brand is OEM for Nissan and Infiniti as well as a lot of others and you will pay double if you go to the dealers or even a local parts store. Check part numbers on any electronics and match up carefully.

Failed shortly after return window
I ordered this as it was less than half the price of going through the dealership. Right part, same model, just not a dealership manufactured one. Super quick and easy to install and it worked great for a few weeks and shortly after the return window closed it stopped working. Numerous mechanics warned me that unless you go through and get the MAS from the dealership, it wont work and unfortunately I didn't listen. Don't waste your time/money as a month or so after installing, you'll be out needing to get another.

It worked. The car didn’t.
It fit (2018 Nissan Rogue S). It worked. It was a very easy install (which I know has far more to do with the car than the part). Turns out, it was my transmission that was really the problem, though it was also throwing codes for this MAFS. So, if you have a Nissan and are looking to replace your mass air flow sensor, simply click out of this window, go to the CarMax website or somewhere else that will buy your car, sell it for whatever you can get for it, and go buy a car that doesn’t burn up a transmission in less than 75k easy-riding miles (seriously, I drive like a little old lady and do all the regular maintenance). If I can’t convince you to do that, this MAFS worked fine for me and will probably do so for you too... until something way more expensive breaks, anyway.

Nissan Kicks SV 2018
Nissan Kicks SV 2018 After trying the AutoZone sensor three times, I was ready to give up it would work at first, but the check engine light would come back on the next day. However, this sensor has been amazing! The check engine light has stayed off for over a month now.

It worked and the car passed the smog test.
The sensor in my 2016 Sentra was Hitachi but first I bought the $35 sensor. (Hey, sometimes the cheap stuff works!) So when nothing changed I wasn't sure if the problem was the sensor but I went ahead and bought this Hitachi sensor anyway. After installing it and starting the engine the first time it idled stepping from 1200rpm to 2400rpm and back, over and over, until I put it in reverse. Fom then on it ran normally. I cleared the p0101 code (the problem it began with) and after using the car awhile and all the Readiness Monitors were complete the "permanent" p0101 code reset and it passed the smog test. Hallelujah!

Fits 2018 Nissan Rogue.
The dealership wanted $350 for an OEM part. During some research, turns out that some dealerships use Hitachi sensors as OEM. SO, before you have a dealership do this repair, save yourself some money and do it yourself. The dealership wanted $350 for the MAF and another $175 for the installation. The entire installation took less than 10 minutes and is two small screws... and the wiring connector, of course.

Didn’t work faulty??
Received code isolating MAF sensor as not working ….was cleaned and worked …months later repeat but would not clear engine light ….ordered this Hitachi model that stated it would fit my 2017 Nissan Maxima and had two scars in plastic top and faint oil finger print on box. Fit but did not work….returned it ….unsure if defective or not right for my maxima….ordering more expensive Nissan replacement part
