Purchased extras for home and family pets
We have a Maltese poodle mix and we thought we were keeping up with brushing her well until we noticed many knots when she was just a few months old. We realized the regular dog brushes we were using only exacerbated the problem. We trimmed her down and have been brushing through her fur thoroughly with these combs ever since and now have a tangle-free puppy. A wider toothed comb would miss areas and a smaller toothed comb just won’t get through her fur. This comb glides through easily and makes any snags more tolerable to work out for pet and owner. It’s also pretty comfortable to hold and control with a rubber grip. We keep these in our nightstands to brush our pup at night and have given my mother one for her shihtzu mix as well.

Simple and effective
After trying several brushes and combs for grooming my ragdoll cat, this comb is the only thing I use now.

Rotating Combs Are a Must
A comb with rotating teeth is the only way to go. They are great for pulling out dead undercoat, but are not for yanking out big mats. You need to be careful not to pull too hard on a large mat, and still need to pull one apart with your fingers or scissor it. This comb is a nice size to use on a small pet, or for a dog’s face, beard and ears. It’s good for human hair, too. While the handle on this is comfortable, if you have a pet with a thick coat do your hands a favor and buy one in the rake style.

Just buy it- you will not regret it.
I finally found the BEST comb! I have a French angora rabbit and have an arsenal of different combs, brushes etc - but this one is by far the best. She gets a full grooming weekly and this tackles everything from regularly combing to tough mat removal. It is super gentle with the mats due to the rotating bristles. I also started using it on my cat and she loves this comb as well.

Great comb for rabbits
This comb is highly recommended for angora rabbits. I use it on any long hair rabbit since the teeth spin it goes through the hair and tangles really well.

It has its strengths and weaknesses, but at an add-on price it's worth a try.
I purchased this comb as an add-on item, primarily to increase the versatility of our pet-grooming tool collection. I am not an expert groomer, but a pet owner who is taking a more active role in the grooming process as a whole. We have a senior dog with long hair and sensitive skin who finds no part of being primped pleasurable, and we have a puppy who is hyper by age and isn't yet secure with knowing what being primped is all about. The dogs are less than 20 lb each, and I prefer the size of this 5-inch comb over other similarly-styled combs which are 7.5 inches in length, as it gives me more control of the comb. The soft grip makes it comfortable to hold, and the rotating teeth with rounded edges are generally better received by the animals.Still I wouldn't consider it a go-to comb when selecting from my available options. It glides rather smoothly through the untangled hair, but it doesn't tackle mats as gently as it should. Given my dogs' coats being naturally dry and fine, I'd think it would be a challenge for the curly- or heavy-coated dogs. The tines themselves are equidistant for the full length of the comb, and while "medium" is perhaps the single best uniform choice, it isn't going to prove suitable for most situations. The comb is of decent quality, and I would consider it even great for the fur of a cat; but given my experience with dogs, my own preference would be to use a slightly larger fine/coarse combination in this style and reserve the evenly-spaced standard teeth for a comb with a handle or tail, possibly with longer tines.

Ragdoll Approved
I found this on the Floppycats blog and had to try it for my rescued Ragdoll. He had been shaved before I got him, and this worked extremely well on both his short hair and long now that it has grown back. He loves being groomed with it and will even switch sides and roll over for me when he thinks I've finished on one side! The rotating teeth make a big difference from other combs I've used and the price is great. I've tried a couple different types of combs with him, but this one is the only one he likes!

You get what you pay for: quality comb.
Worth paying more, it is the only comb with rotating teeth that does not break after a couple of uses. Good quality.

Fast shipping, excellent product
Easy for me to hold onto and fits nicely into my dog park bag so I can comb my poodle and Yorkie to get the debris out before getting in the car.

Fabulous for matt removal and prevention
Each tooth spins on its own. This makes taking matts apart easier and less painful.
