Has blink removed the awful feature that limits the " live view" option to 30 seconds? there should be no limit. it stops many from buying blink.

There is a limit to the continuous live viewing on the Blink cameras. Currently, you are able to view up to 5 minutes at a time in 30 second intervals. After 5 minutes you would have to initiate a new live view session. We do not have any news to share regarding continuous live viewing on the Blink cameras. However, we value your feedback and will forward this information to the appropriate team at Blink.

I have an original blink module. are the new cameras compatible with it or do i need a module 2?

Yes, The Blink Indoor and Outdoor cameras can be added to your existing Blink System. Plus, if adding Blink Indoor and Outdoor cameras to an existing Blink system that has been activated on or before 4/15/20, you will be grandfathered into your current free cloud storage model in the Blink app. Systems activated after 4/15/20 will receive motion alerts and be able to enter Live View for free, with the option to access video recordings in the Blink app through a cloud storage subscription. Local Storage options are available with the Sync Module 2 and a removable USB storage drive.

Can you replace the battery after it dies?

The battery-operated Blink cameras are shipped with two non-rechargeable AA 1.5v Lithium batteries and they’re easy to replace when the time comes. Blink camera batteries should be replaced by Energizer Ultimate 1.5v Lithium AA batteries or the equivalent.

Can I mix indoor and outdoor cameras on my system?

You can have up to 10 Blink devices per sync module as long as they are all within the 100ft operating range of the sync module in any direction. The cameras on the sync module can be in any combination.
