We make a big deal of Halloween and have a family dress up theme each year; this year its skeletons and over the years I have learned to forgo those cheap all inclusive Halloween make up kits in favor of a good white base paint and regular make up. This base hit the mark.Its a rich, almost oil like substance that is buildable to an opaque finish and does dry down. I found it actually applied a lot easier with a beauty blender type product rather than the provided applicator and it was better to apply the first layer, wait a little then apply a second. It does not really have any discernable scent and does not become too dry though can crack by the end of the night.It did not irritate my skin, and yes, as others have mentioned, it can take a little work to remove. I found using a bunch of oil based make up remover pads worked well, or a make up removing face wipe to which you have added an oil based make up remover. That works quickly and easily, with minimal mess.Overall easy to apply, not irritating and and effective in creating a creepy bright white ghostly face!

This was my first time trying out an oil based costume makeup in a while, and I really like this CCbeauty Professional White Makeup with Powder Puff Foundation Cream for Halloween (1.9 oz). It also comes with a red nose in case your wanting a scary clown look. ( nothing scarier than a clown)I didn't use the enclosed powder puff and opted instead for a slightly damp makeup sponge. I found the cream went on smoothly and covered well, you just need to layer the makeup for a more defined look and allow about a five minute drying time in between layers. Once I achieved the full coverage I was wanting, I used a white face powered to set the makeup and then regular eye shadows for all the shading and creepy effects.This is a harder product to get off, but that is one of the reasons it stays on so well! I used makeup remover wipes then showered off the rest. Worked great! Would force again for sure!

I had a blast using this, it goes on smoothly, blends well and didn’t cause me any breakouts (although my skin isn’t sensitive). The makeup isn’t waterproof so fair warning do NOT get this wet at all any water will have it smudging.But on the plus side this not being waterproof makes it very easy to come off.I like that it came with a little applicator sponge which was very handy because I didn’t have to hunt for mine. Another warning make sure you keep an eye on this because if you accidentally put anything on (blanket, pillow, shirt etc etc) it will be white lol.

I picked this up just in time for Halloween and it's your standard greasepaint that work for a multitude of looks. The paint itself smells pretty horrible so please bare that in mind when applying. It's like a chemical sort of smell. Included was a clown nose which I thought was adorable, but the cat took that for her own use...It glides on very easily and removes with an oil based remover. I suppose you could use wipes if need be but I would recommend double cleansing to make sure this stuff doesn't sit in your pores for too long!

I was very impressed with the quality of this makeup. I am naturally very tan and needed makeup to make me very pale as I wanted to be Morticia for Halloween. This makeup is really creamy, it is easy to spread, easy to apply and has great coverage. It does tend to smear throughout the day but for the most part stay put if you set it with a finishing powder and it is easy to remove. I received a lot of compliments.

This white dress up make up is actually better quality than I expected for the price. It comes in a nicely sized container. Easy to put on. It is a cream. It did not irritate my face at all and my face is normally sensitive too. It’s great. Definitely would get again. Definitely recommend.

I needed a white base for my Mrs Lovett cosplay and this was perfect. It was very easy to apply (I just used a damp sponge) and it stayed for a whole Facebook Live show plus 2 hours after for photos with no touch-ups needed. Wiped off easily with a regular make-up remover wipe. A great option for costume makeup!

The Ccbeauty professional white clown face makeup comes in a pack with a foam applicator and a red down nose to finish the look.I ordered this product with Halloween makeup ideas in mind and it is often difficult to find a good quality white base for fancy dress makeup.The makeup is oil based so it goes onto the skin easily and smooths well over my skin. It is builds and layers well so I wasn’t disappointed that the first few laters were a bit patchy. The results were a little sticky looking but this could be improved with a face powder to lock the makeup in.I found that the product comes off easily with baby/makeup wipes. I also felt that the smell of the product was pleasant. Just a mild talc-y makeup smell and not chemically. I also have pretty sensitive skin and it didn’t cause me any irritation.The price for all of the items included is pretty fair. I have seen similar products with no extras for about the same price and without as much quantity of makeup in the container.A good Halloween makeup staple that will last.

This year I wanted to try some more professional makeup for Halloween, as last year I used a cheap product that looked pretty bad. This makeup seems a lot better! Not sure if it’s worth £10 though.My first impression is that it seems to have pretty good coverage. You’ll need a few layers though and it takes a while to apply because the makeup dries slowly. It gives quite a good effect without looking too greasy or cakey and it looks like it will last long enough. It is a large pot of makeup so I’ll be able to use it on multiple occasions. The makeup has a neutral smell so it doesn’t bother.The additional clown nose is not very useful but I didn’t even expect to get it because it’s not in the description.

Great as a base for all kinds of scary makeup.Comes with a foam red nose which is a nice touch if you're going for the clown lookJust be mindful that it is oil based so this means it takes a while to dry and you will need something more appropriate than just water to remove.You can get a 250ml Snazaroo pot of white makeup with a similar outcome for £11.25 so while this is a good product I think maybe it's a tad overpriced.

This creamy white solution, settles well on the skin and covers all imperfections. But it takes a long time to dry. It is difficult to clean the skin, especially if you put several layers. Along with this white cream for painting the skin, I got a red nose for the clown and a very useful and high quality sponge.
