works great , I only quickly tried this out and it worked great , I have 7 underground power lines each in 2 inch plastic conduits , I need to locate these lines before digging started on my property . I called two different private locating companies , I had quotes from 225.00 to 400.00 , this purchase saved me quite a large amount , and I can use it when ever I have time and I own it . This is another one of the great products that Amazon sells . Thank You ,,,

I was skeptical because it wasn't one of the more well-known brands. But for a residential user trying to track down one short in a wall, this worked OUTSTANDING for me and the price was right. It saved me dozens of hours and worked great! I would recommend this to any occasional user. It was way cheaper than calling an electrician! Bravo Noyafa!

I purchased an "Underground Wire Locator", NF-826, on Amazon. It worked! At 1/20th the price of a professional unit, it was well worth it for home use. It was not as accurate or as easy to use as the $4K system I use at work, but it was accurate enough out to 174 feet from the transmitter. It may work on longer runs, but that's the longest run I had to measure for the initial project. The photos show that the tracer put the ground surface location of a tracer wire buried 24 inches below ground with a plastic gas line to within 4 inches of the actual location. The written instructions were not without some minor translation problems, but they were clear enough that I got it to work. At first it appeared that the unit did not produce a signal, but I only had to press the [||>] button on the transmitter for it to start generating tone. Something that I did not pick up from the instructions. I'm writing a review of the product, since none of the reviews on Amazon gave an actual review of the unit's ability to do what it claimed to do: Locate underground wires. One of my pet peeves about "product reviewers" on line is that they don't produce actual reviews. They say something like: "I just received and unboxed the product today, and I'm real excited to have a new toy. It looks very (interesting / fun / exotic / well-made, etc.), and then they give it 5 stars, and they have not even read the instructions yet, let alone used it for it's purpose. So they skew the ratings without actually having used the product. And then there are the reviewers who give the product a rating of "1" because the product didn't or couldn't do something that the product description CLEARLY stated was not within it's capabilities, or was outside any reasonable persons expectations. For example: "The food processor could not make sand out of gravel".

I purchased a home 14 yrs ago and have been looking for my sprinkler valves ever since. I was skeptical about making this purchase based on some of the reviews. This tool works! It took some trial and error but once I had a good understanding on how to use it (about 2 hours of fiddling arourd in my yard), it was just a matter of minutes before I located the valves. They were buried in my flower bed about 18 to 20 inches deep under a rose bush.. Power went out in several rooms in my home. I determined I had an open neutral. After ruling out a loose connection or a bad outlet/ switch I used the tracer to find a break in a neutral wire behind the wall. Again, it took some time and research but once I had an understanding of how to approach using this tool it pinpointed the broken wire

Works pretty good, but won't show a short to ground unless the wire is completely broken. Will not show a short to ground that is tripping a GFI unless the wire is completely burned to open circuit

What a great tool. Works as advertised. I had it up and running in about 10 minutes. Traced out a line buried in my front garden bed. Great value for money saved me calling out a private service. I knew where it ran (the bed) but not the location. This tool did the job. The only thing I was curious about was could I use it in a live circuit. I decided to play it safe and shut the breaker down 100A feed to a sub panel.

I ordered a new item and received an obviously used product. It had scratches on the back of one. The probes were wrapped. The screens were dirty. I will return it as I don’t intend to pay a new price for a used product.

Does what it claims. I located an important TV Trunk cable in no time at all. Clamped on to the outer shield of the Trunk and earthed the other with earth stake and was able to trace cable thru 2 completely covered pits a total of about 600 meters. Add TV cable locating to its list of uses!

Bisher eine durchweg positive Überraschung. Zum Finden von Unterbrechungen des Begrenzungskabels beim Rasenroboter habe ich bereits vor zwei Jahren ein ähnliches Gerät (häufig zu sehen bei den YT-Videos) gekauft, das preislich aber weit unterhalb angesiedelt ist (unter 20€). Da die Performance eher mäßig war (Handling & Suchleistung) und der Empfänger nach insgesamt nur zweimaliger Nutzung gar nicht mehr funktioniert (Gerät lagerte mit entnommer Batterie) habe ich mich nun für die teurere Lösung entschieden. Ich bin tatsächlich begeistert - kein Vergleich zu dem Billig-Gerät - dieses ist um Klassen besser ! Im Detail: Das Gerät kam tatsächlich einen Tag nach Bestellung an, in der üblichen Tasche. Das Zubehör ist recht reichhaltig, inkl. deutscher Anleitung (die ist sogar recht gut geschrieben, ist keine hirnlose Übersetzung). Alles macht einen recht wertigen und durchdachten Eindruck, die Akkus sind vorgeladen. Die Arbeitsleistung des Geräts ist tadellos und beeindruckend. Das Finden der Bruchstellen war buchstäblich in Sekunden erledigt, obwohl deutlich über 100m recht weit weg und vergleichsweise tief im Boden. Das Ansprechen war so präzise auch Dank der variablen Sende- und Sucheinstellung, dass die Lokalisierung auf wenige Zentimeter genau möglich war - das erspart unnötiges Graben. Zusammenfassend gesagt: Der hohe Kaufpreis (im Vergleich mit anderen Produkten am Markt) mag abschrecken, aber Stand jetzt ist es jeden Cent wert. Ich hoffe, dass das Gerät lange hält und ich keine nachträgliche Abwertung vornehmen muss. Bisher ist es eine klare Kaufempfehlung - auch zu diesem Preis.

Parfait pour détecter une coupure de fil souterrain de guidage pour robot tondeuse. A condition de pouvoir connecter une extrémité à l'appareil émetteur. Beau matériel, manuel traduit en Français presque intelligible.

Alors contrairement à certains commentaires, il y'a bien une notice en français et le câble d'alimentation est fourni. J'ai utilisé ce produit afin de retrouver un câble d'alimentation de portail électrique enterré à environ 30 cm sous terre. La détection est précise, l'intensité du signal n'est pas seulement sonore mais aussi chiffrée de 0 à 250 ce qui facilite beaucoup la localisation et de rapidement suivre les virages pris par le câble. En même pas 5 minutes, j'ai pu me rendre compte que contrairement à ce que je pensais, mon câble d'alimentation n'arrivait pas dans mon garage mais dans une boite de dérivation dans mon salon. Petite remarque tout de même mais qui est liée à la technologie utilisée, l'appareil est perturbé par tout ce qui est métallique, la distance de détection s'effondre alors du fait de la perturbation électro-magnétique de ces pièces.
