Mushroom Liquid Culture - Blue Oyster (Pleurotus ostreatus)

I've always bought from the same company for years. The last few times I have, the mycelium has been very weak/thin looking. It takes a week to even see any growth and it's usually just here and there... nothing thick ever. They replaced the product everytime for free, unfortunately with with the same outcome, and on top of that, it's a lot of extra prep work that I shouldn't have to do. I really gave them every opportunity to get it together. I finally decided to switch it up (literally first time in 10 years) and I have to say I'm pretty impressed for only being 4 days after inoculation.... no contams and strong growth! Pretty happy considering I just went to amazon and picked a random company. Will be buying from company in future!

This Blue Oyster Mushroom culture syringe was great! I gently shook and rolled the syringe as described in the included instructions to ensure even amounts throughout. I injected a paltry 1ml of the culture into each of my low tek quart jars of sterilized bird seed via a rubber port in the lid to maintain a closed environment. This culture took off growing overnight! A Beautiful white mycelium fluff is quickly eating it's way throughout the prepared seed! I can't wait to seed my grow buckets with it!!! Fantastic Value for a very reasonable price.

Producing

First I must say the delivery time put me off a little, however it came earlier than expected, the spores themselves were clean, looked beautiful, and they even threw in an extra syringe. I could not recommend them enough! Definitely will be ordering from them again.

Bought two of these with mushroom bags and coco coir medium, followed instructions for sterilizing and hydrating medium, and nether growed. Didn’t even start to pin after 2 weeks. I made sure the medium stayed moist

Grew well

This strain of oyster mushrooms is great. It grows fast and is very robust. Use oak sawdust and rye berries for optimal growth.

I found this culture did not grow quite as voraciously as the golden oysters.
