My first Ball Success Story
I am a beginner bowler, have no idea what I am doing, but eager to learn as I LOVE it and just joined a league. Me and my boyfriend got this exact same ball in different colors and it bowls great for both of us after a week. I was bowling 9-10lb house balls, I got this in 11lb and its really wonderful. He was bowling 11-12 house balls and got a 13lb for starting which he really loves too. I will say, based on what you want to do with it, work with your pro shop to get it drilled correctly and you too will have your first favorite bowling ball. Based on how he throws his, it has a solid sharp hook at the end which he is getting used to but loves and mine has a more subtle arched hook which works great for me. I can also throw it straight if I need to based on my positioning. Just make sure you tell your pro shop if you want to hook or throw it straight. From my experience this first week using it, it is a subtle hook which is honestly perfect for learning. Either way, it is LIGHTYEARS ahead of house balls and so much better for my wrist as I am a massage therapist and take special care of my body mechanics on the daily.

Great ball
Ball rolls well scored in 180. Just as good as high price balls

Great ball! Be sure to get holes drilled properly!
This ball was exactly as described and shipped reality quickly. No issues with the ball and rolls perfect for me. I’m a decent bowler and super happy with this ball. After getting the ball, I took it to a bowling center to have the finger holes drilled properly. To get the most out of your ball, I recommend taking to someone that’s familiar with bowling and does drilling often as having the proper holes drilled will make the diff in your bowling game! I’m a lefty and hooks great. My first game as over 200 and thrilled!

Great product but little hook
Overall I think this is a great ball for people who are beginning to bowl with reactive balls. However, I have had considerable trouble getting this ball to hook properly, and the oil pattern on the ball following a throw is not smooth or always predictable. There are several lines of oil emanating from a single point on the ball instead of one solid ring. I have bowled with other reactive balls and did not have this happen. Of course, I am not going to say that this is because of the ball. Maybe the drilling was not quite right, or maybe I'm not throwing a hook right. Or maybe I did not purchase an out-of-the-box condition ball as I intended. Either way, my pro shop claimed to have drilled it for a decent hook but the ball really skids through the breakpoint and has considerable trouble finding traction. My flare seems to be somewhere between 4 and 6 boards for most throws. One last point. The out-of-box cover is claimed to be 1500 grit abralon on the website, but mine is 2000 grit. I don't know enough about this to determine if this is the reason for my lack of reaction. Maybe it is. I will have the pro shop look into it. Hope this helps and good luck bowling!

Great ball for beginners
Let me preface this by saying if you want a "standard" hook that rips from left to right to pocket, you won't want to go here. That said, most of you *able* to bowl that way won't be looking here anyway. This is a great ball for people just starting out, or people who don't want a ton of hook but still maintain the weight and power that comes with a hooking ball.Plastic balls and house balls will bounce off pins and are great for spares and kids, but if you want to upgrade your game you're going to need something with force behind it -- thus hooking balls or balls with a weighted center. For me, I've never liked going from left to right to pocket, or the standard shot. It just feels boring to me and too reliant on oil conditions. If a lane is oily, you need to orient several whole arrows, often 20-30 boards. For this ball, you're going to want to be close to center. Not working? Go farther right. Too much hook? Farther left. But you're only really gonna work in that 5-15 board layout. I also enjoy this ball because it's a good versatile ball - as in you aren't locked out of picking up spares unless you perfect your wrist motion. For me, I sometimes give a bit of hook still for the 10 pin, but this won't curve enough to negate my shot unless I'm really not trying. I like that. All in all, this is a ball that does what I need it to do. Just make sure you know what you need it to do as well and you'll be happy.

And you definitely can’t beat the price
It has become my primary spare bowl. Because it has a nice little hook

Great looking ball with medium break
I used this ball in a practice game today and loved how it looked going down the lane. It breaks nicely, but not too hard, so easy for me to control. Because of the coloring you can really see how the ball is spinning when I release it properly.
