great budget shelf
The materials are cheap but it still looks nice and is durable enough for a basic shelf. They're super easy to put together and take apart because they don't need tools.

Cheap, but some of the best cheap you'll find
I've gotten similar furniture from Furinno a couple times before, so this is also kind of my review for the whole line -- and, well, the fact that I keep coming back to them says something. This is cheap furniture made out of particleboard and hollow plastic, and nobody's pretending otherwise, but for the price and for what it is, it consistently impresses me.Assembly is toolless and extremely easy, enough so that most of us could probably figure it out without instructions (but instructions are provided, which is for the best as I'm not always that quick). I had these shelves done in five minutes. These sellers aren't cutting corners by passing off tiny furniture with misleading pictures or anything, either, these are full-size, substantial articles that will actually hold your stuff. They even look pretty nice -- way more pleasant to look at than most other kinds of cheap furniture I've used, which tend to be pure utility. Are they sturdy? These shelves seem to be, and the other items I've had for years have given me no problems. In fairness, I've had all of them on a carpet which makes everything a little more wobbly -- not ideal for the little pipe feet on this design -- so it's hard for me to completely gauge their steadiness. For standing up to use, despite those hollow tubes, Furinno's approach is well designed to distribute weight. Speaking as a petite adult, I'd be willing to sit on top of these shelves, but probably not on a regular basis. I'd be willing to put a TV on them, but maybe not an expensive one, or at least I'd discreetly tape the legs to the wall. I want to say I wouldn't put my PC on them, but I've put my PC on much worse before. It'd probably be okay. If I really really needed shelves to specifically store heavy expensive equipment, though, I'd likely look to those pure-utility alternatives instead. If I had to give a downside, I will agree that quality control can be a little iffy. Most of the corners on the boards for these shelves were scuffed or had rough spots where the bits didn't get glued together cleanly, some of the tubes were distinctly more resistant to screwing together, and my previous purchases have had a couple scratches too. You can see from the other reviews here that these types of blemishes are relatively common. Personally, I haven't encountered anything like a major defect, and nothing that really impacts the look or utility of the furniture. (It's probably more noticeable as you get further from natural wood-like colors, since any exposed particleboard will stand out more.) But it's worth keeping in mind that reliability can be a quiet downside to going cheap. If you really need perfection, don't gamble on it.Bottom line: $20 furniture is not $200 furniture, but for $20 furniture this excels.

Easy to Assemble Budget Friendly Furniture
This is a decent piece of furniture for the price. It may not be the best quality, but is very stable and very easy to assemble. The main caution with assembly is to not over tighten or strip the threads on the shelf supports. The shelves can hold a pretty decent amount of stuff. I have not had an issue with any thing that I have placed on there. The supports are PVS/heavy duty plastic and the shelves are laminated composite wood. This furniture comes in different colors to match your room's decor. It is also available in different sizes, with the one I purchased being the smallest. I got the light wood grain shelf with the white PC supports. It matches my furniture that I already have in my bedroom. This is a budget friendly option for furniture. It does exactly what I need it to do.The shelf has three tiers and is pretty compact. So, it can fit in small spaces. I have really not had an issue with this shelf. It has already survived a move to a new house. I am pleased with my purchase.

This shelf unit is terrific. You can assemble it in about five minutes. You don’t need any tools or screws. It’s designed so the legs screw together. It’s sturdy and attractive. I put it in our hallway storage closet and it has a lot of storage space.I’m glad I bought this. I’d definitely buy another one!

Cute, lightweight, easy to assemble
-Easy to assemble- took maybe 5-10 minutes. No tools needed. It only took a little effort to get the squared poles (which are plastic) to line up straight, but it wasn't difficult to do.-Lightweight, but sturdy enough for basic needs. I put it in my pantry to store my slow cooker/crockpot and other pantry items. The crockpot was the "heaviest" item on there and I have the shelf against the back wall so it can't be knocked over. I wouldn't use this in a heavy traffic area where it can be bumped into.-I don't remember seeing a weight limit when I purchased, but the instructions say 15 lb limit per shelf.-I ordered the shelf unit with Square poles in White with the light wood shelves... so in terms of appearance: the white isn't a true white. I included a picture of the white Styrofoam that came in the box next to the pole to give a better idea of the "white" -which has a hint of gray to it... but for my pantry, it's fine and still looks good. I didn't need the white to be a pure white. It's close enough and only really noticeable if you're really looking at it. Also, the underside of the shelves doesn't have the wood veneer; so the particle/cork board is visible. It didn't matter for my use and most times the underside of these isn't visible, but I figured I'd mention it... for a taller unit, I wouldn't like that to be noticeable, but the one I bought is low.Overall, for basic storage needs, this is cute and works out well. I caught it at a reduced price ($25). I definitely wouldn't have paid full price for this though. For the color & style I chose (squared poles), it said it was originally $65 which, in my opinion, is over-priced for a small particle board + plastic unit.

Simple to put together.
Pieces screw together easily, shelves are made of particle board so made of "wood" is a stretch. Rods that screw together to build the shelf are a VERY cheap hollow plastic. I was able to put this shelf together within 5 minutes. It's light due to the fake wood and plastic, a bit wobbly so I wouldn't plan to store heavy things. It's cheap so you get what you pay for! It's functional and I can easily move it around.

Great but! Can’t go wrong!
This is a great buy! It’s got a simple but elegant finish and is easy to put together (5 min - no tools). It’s sturdy and can handle a substantial amount of weight. If it fits the size, make the purchase. You won’t be sorry.
