Perfect with scones
Wonderful British clotted cream.

It’s not clotted cream but butter
This was not luxury clotted cream. The consistency is not what I used to buy myself off the shelf at the grocery store before I moved to a rural area. It was like unsalted butter in a jar, but harder and with zero flavor. It tore up my delicious scones when I tried to spread it on them. I wish I read the reviews first because, apparently, there are no regulations or quality control governing this product. DO NOT BUY THIS.

It turned into Butter
This arrived sealed and wasn't spoiled which it was a concern. This was the first time having clotted cream, and I called some friends in the UK about it. From their description, I should have received a thick heavy cream that you can use a spoon to just "take a mouthful". What I received was something very close to butter that had some liquid on top. trying a taste, I was surprised that it reminded me of unsalted butter. I refrigerated the cream like it said after opening and shortly after it hardened like butter. I assume that with the high fat content what received was clotted cream that had been churned into butter during shipping. It doesn't really have a taste and it melts like butter. So its great on toast with jam but so is butter. So this isn't clotted cream when it arrived at my house but butter.

Poorly sealed and not returnable. Don’t buy this!!
I received this and left it unopened in my cabinet. It leaked oil all over my cabinet even though it was upright! Obviously not sealed properly. I threw it away because it is NOT returnable and I didn’t feel safe serving it. Very disappointed after spending $13.00 for a small jar!!

Very rich and tastey, but the jar is not much bigger than a thimble!

Tried it for fun!
Midsummer murders lover and they always talks about clotted cream. We just wanted to try it out! It came in great shape and we had fun using it. We liked the taste but really don’t know what it is suppose to taste.
