Nice
Wow this is a cable and-a-half! Look, feel and quality is awesome. Amazing value for money and very long! Nice in black and normal charging speed. Mine is coupled with a 2A charger which seems to charge quickly. My only gripe is this cable is fairly thick which doesn’t really make it easy to move. It has a tendency to fight back

Good quality and charges well
Good solid cable that works exactly as it should. Charges reliably, connects firmly and doesn’t feel flimsy like some of the cheaper unbranded ones. The MFi certification means no random pop‑ups or failed charges, and it works perfectly with iPhone and iPad. The build quality is decent — flexible enough to bend without cracking, but sturdy enough to feel like it’ll last. Length is handy for everyday use, whether it’s by the bed, in the car or plugged into a power bank. For the price, it’s a great buy — dependable, well made and far better than most budget Lightning cables.

Solid, Affordable, and Surprisingly Eco- Friendly!
I wasn’t expecting much from an Amazon Basics cable, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The build quality feels sturdy and reliable — it’s clear this isn’t one of those flimsy cables that frays in a week. It fits snugly into ports and transfers data without a hitch. The packaging was another nice touch: completely recyclable and minimal, which I really appreciate. It’s great to see a budget-friendly product that doesn’t compromise on sustainability. And speaking of budget — the price is incredibly low for what you’re getting. It performs just as well as some of the more expensive name brands I’ve tried, but at a fraction of the cost. Definitely a smart buy if you're after quality without breaking the bank.

good but didn't last as long as hoped
bought july 31st 2025 it started breaking in feb 2026 so not the best i thought it would last longer than a year but apart from that it's done good it never comes up saying accessories not supported like some cheap ones do charges fast and well

Worked for a while
Worked for a few months, it’s now starting to do that thing where you have to have it at a certain angle to work so I think it’s on its way out but it was good while it lasted and much cheaper than buying from apple

Better Deal than Apple Lighting Cable
After my Apple-brand lightning cable wore down (the plastic around the lightning charger side literally started to break off despite normal usage), I bought a replacement cable from Amazon Basics in May 2023 to charge my iPhone 8. I bought the 6ft cable for $7.66 since it was actually cheaper than the 3ft cable at the time, and the cable has been working great. Here's what I noticed about the Amazon Basics lightning cable in comparison to the Apple lightning cable: -The charging speed doesn't seem to be different. -The 6ft cable from Amazon Basics is longer and gives me more flexibility in charging my phone. I can scroll in bed or arrange my desk differently. -The cable is thicker and feels more durable. If I accidentally yanked on Apple's lightning cable, I would freeze in fear that I ripped it. With this cable though, I would not have to worry about this (although it's long enough that I don't even yank on it in the first place). Although I would like the cable to be braided (I also got braided Amazon Basics cables in the past to use with my portable charger), this is more than durable enough considering what I paid. -The plastic around the cable is a soft plastic rather than a hard plastic. This makes me feel that the plastic is not going to crack after repeated usage (unlike the Apple lightning cable) -The plastic around the cable is wider on the Amazon Basics cable, meaning that the charger slightly compresses my soft-shell phone case when I'm charging my phone. This was also an issue with the braided Amazon Basics cable I mentioned earlier. While this is only a minor issue for me, it's entirely possible that the charger won't fit if you have a hard case around your device, so consider that before purchasing. Besides the few minor issues I mentioned above, I am very satisfied with this product since I am essentially getting a cable better than the brand name one for less than 40% of its retail price. I don't expect a deal as good as the one that I got to come around anytime soon, but I'd highly recommend this cable (or at least another Amazon Basics cable) if you are looking for a cheaper yet improved replacement for your lightning cable. This cable, as well as my braided cables bought previously from Amazon Basics, has made Amazon Basics my go-to source of replacement device charging cables.
