Not sure why I have never bought one of these before......I have everything else!! Used for first time today to drain grease off of cooked ground beef and PERFECT!! So easy to use, clean, and store. Love it!!

I thought this would be a great item, I was wrong.It would seem to be a great idea, in a practical sense, it misses the mark.While easy to fit to a pot, that's the only good thing.Once you tip the pot to strain out the liquid, you can only go to a certain angle before the contents (in my case, pasta) start to spill over the top.It is impossible to get all the liquid out of the pot and you wind up either having to scoop out the contents (luckily, I ordered Spiders in the same order) and there is a considerable amount of water left in the pot.In the end, you would be better off just using a colander to drain.Can't recommend this product at all.

Works well for straining smaller amounts of pasta. We tried a big pot of spaghetti last night and it wasn’t quite big enough.

I tried this Yevior brand and the Kitchen Gizmo brand and this worked much better because the clips opened wider to fit more pans. This didn't keep as much food from toppling over the edge as I had expected, but the Kitchen Gizmo didn't either.

I wish I had known about this item before. I have bad wrists and it takes two hands to move about my larger pots and pans so when draining grease from ground beef or water from noodles, I often drop my pan in the sink trying to use the lid to strain with one hand and holding the pot with the other. This gadget lets me hold on with both hands while it does the straining. It fits on even my largest pan and works great.

I use this almost every night, now. It truly fits on any round pot/pan, even thick ones like cast-iron. Great quality, it's very thick and durable. Easy to use, easy to clean. Perfect for nonstick, since the clips are completely covered! Tip: if you're using a smaller pan, flip the straining part up, so it creates an upward curve/bump, this will catch any food so you don't accidentally dump any. Don't be surprised if it gets lost and takes a minute to arrive, though.

This is a lot easier and convenient than using a colander. I have used it several times and the one downside is the seal is not great against the pan. As you try to get that last bit of a water or grease out some of the pasta or meat slips between the strainer and pan. That causes a little bit of the food to fall into your sink. It is easy to clean and takes up a lot less room than a colander. It appears to be sturdy and well made.

One of my very favorite purchases on Amazon! Works amazingly! I don't have to worry about my pasta/potatoes/etc. falling out. Works great on ANY pot!
