Lots of fun for money
1st off this was the second hoverseat I purchased .this one did arrive with some damage( poss from travel from china and or UPS) . I was able to fix myself .seller was helpful with that and responded fast . All in all this is a great idea .i believe they engineered this to be simple, safe (as can be expected) ( there will always be inherent risk),strong, and at a reasonable price point.I picked up a couple of well made beach chairs at costco for $20 and they work fine . I did purchase a set of 12 nice Velcro 12" straps here on Amazon ($10) , and used total of 8 per chair in mult locations around item. It is worth the effort to do this to keep seat from moving around and rubbing tires or worse , detaching .Four straps included ,but need more.I purchased a new 10" Hoverboard on eBay . Looked like it had round center but the standard clamp wouldn't fit and I had to order the universal clamp . Also, I was unable to reprogram new 10" Hoverboard to work angled towards ( just doesn't work on some boards). I ended up purchasing the wedge seller recommended on Amazon . Much cheaper to buy 12" wedge and cut in half with sawzall, but was still $ 24 and guess what? Did not work on my board.(wasted $) . What did work well was a cheap , small set of wheel chocks from harbor freight for $5 ( they are red , metal with rubber grip surface).I secured these with good quality lashing straps I had purchased on Amazon a while back, you must cut off excess strap because u only need enough to wrap around board .if you go this route, place chock in middle of foot area on board for best results.hoverseat is easy to control, plenty fast, and can turn fast.stops fairly well ( no steep hills ) but leave yourself room and time to make controlled stop.reverse works well too .hopefully get several years out of it . More concerned about the board failing then hoverseat .

Fun addition for your hoverboard
Not too hard to assemble ,but instructions did not cover every step. The place where the chair mounts to frame leaves a lot to be desired - I had to devise extra support for my typical low beach chair. This sitting attachment is still a bit unstable when riding on it, especially at speeds faster than walking speed - there is a big possibility for it to flip over on turns. The frame is pretty sturdy, it held weight up to 200 lbs and did not break or bend. All in all, it is a fun addition for a hoover board- especially for us "older" people LoL To get this out to ride on it...I highly suggest carrying the attachment out to the hoverboard and connecting them together ...do not try to carry hoverboard & attachment together.

Brilliant product
Hover seat is great. I bought one 3 years ago, and use it a lot to get between a few locations on an open campus. It is more maneuverable than a golf cart and certainly faster than walking. While suggestions are for beach chairs, I've had the best results with stadium seats. You'll sit lower, but it is very sturdy. I constantly get comments from folks about how brilliant the design is, and they're right. Simple ideas are typically the most effective.

Deceptive advertising. Does not fit most beach chairs.
We have 6 low boy type beach chairs in our home. None of them are narrow enough to fit this. The space between the wheels of the hoverseat is about 22 inches. All of our beach chairs are 22.5 to 24 inches wide and will not fit between the wheels. The manufacturer needs to update the marketing and this Amazon listing to specify the available width between the wheels and stop claiming that "most" beach chairs will fit on this frame. It's deceptive and frustrating.

Not worth the money
Update: this thing is a death trap! Ok, a slight exaggeration but I tried it again going on a slight downhill. No brakes! Maybe the hoverboard was over calibrated? Maybe my low beach chair was too low? Regardless, we calibrated it so that it could go forward with some effort (pressing down pretty hard and sitting really forward in the seat). But once I started going down hill, I couldn't stop. Wiped out and ended up skinning my elbow almost to the bone. Had to go to the ER and everything. So it is not a 'safe' ride per se. So wear a helmet at least. So we got this hoverseat , and it is not as cool as I had imagined. First of all, the thing comes in like 7+ parts and is not assembled at all. On the seller's website and videos, it says assembly takes less than a minute (maybe even 30 seconds) because all you have to do is attach the hoverboard with the clip and strap in the beach chair (it doesn't even tell you that, but that should be obvious). Our beach chair at home was too wide and didn't work, so we went out and got a narrower one that fits between the wheels. Secondly, the assembly instructions were terrible. There were no diagrams, and it took us a while to even figure out there were any which were in small print in paragraph form on this sheet of paper that came in the box. These directions were bad; like it just says "attach this piece to that piece" without instructions on which bolt to use, etc. Could not find a youtube video for it either. Ended up calling their number and a guy on the phone kind of told you how to put it together, and it wasn't super hard to figure it out after that. The problem is this is over a hundred bucks for a couple pieces of metal, a clamp, and two wheels. Oh, and some strips of Velcro to attach to your seat. Definitely not a safe mode of transportation, and way less sophisticated than even a kids wagon. More importantly, it does not work that well. We recalibrated the hoverboard per the instructions so that it could work slanted towards a seated person. Remember, a hoverboard is meant to have the weight of someone riding standing up with their whole weight on it. My kids had a really hard time even getting the hoverboard to move forward because there was just not enough weight on it, and the whole thing would shake violently. The adults gave it a shot, and it was fairly easy to maneuver on flat ground. However, it will definitely NOT climb any hills, even small ones because the wheels just slip trying to pull all that weight. And you don't want to go down hill either, because it is hard to brake with the recalibrated slant on the hover board, and there are no manual brakes. So if you have a lot of flat, smooth surface like a board walk, it is fun to tool around in. My kids said it looked like someone riding an electric wheelchair. LOL! If you think that's cool...Anyway, we overall didn't feel like it met the hype or our expectations.

GoodGood
About the hoverseat it's a great contraption! I had a minor issue with the clamp and so I emailed just to find out where to buy one and the seller replied that he would send me one free talk about great customer service and people that really stands behind their product. All in all I would say this has been a good purchase it is great fun to ride and back by people that know how to back their products

arrived with a flat tyre, I fixed it but it was pretty annoying, I actually had to do some work to get it operational and by looking at the product does one purchase this because they wish to exert effort or exercise?

This item is good quality but tricky to get used to driving while sitting down with your feet

After a single day of use this product failed. The tube in the left tire failed and needed to be repaired. The quality of the components is not good. However the workmanship of the frame is very nice.
