AvoDermIndoor Formula Dry Cat Food. 6lb bag

In the name of total transparency, I have not myself personally tasted this cat food, nor do I intend to. I gave it a 5 star rating based on the fact my beloved Odin seems to really love it. I have been overall very happy with this food. It seems to be a good value for the money and has helped tremendously with Odin's skin and hairball issues.The 4 star rating for the ingredient quality is because I feel like there could be fewer ingredients and the protein sources could be less processed, but I'm sure it would cost more.Also, since images are more helpful, enjoy a photo of my beloved Odin.

I have an older cat that I acquired when a relative died and she needed a home. She had problems with her skin all of the time- crusty, dry skin, small sores, etc- and would lose a lot of hair. Information I found suggested that she might have an allergy (and that cats can develop allergies to certain foods/ingredients in food) after a period of years so I figured I'd try switching food to see if that helped. I looked at my local pet store and they were getting rid of all of their AvoDerm because they weren't going to carry it anymore so I bought a bag. Not only did she love it but her skin and fur conditions cleared up within 2 weeks. I went back and bought all they had but was looking for a place to buy it when she ran out and of course, Amazon had it. The price wasn't really any different than any place else (except the more expensive pet store across town) but they bring it right to the house, which is perfect for me since I don't drive. I'll definitely be buying this again.

I have a 4 yr old male kitty that has had stomach problems all of his life on top of him having long fur so he gets hairballs. We clean up a lot of cat puke around here and step in a lot of cat puke also. Yuk!!!! Especially in the morning when it has been a while since his last meal. But besides all of that I'm sure he hates it. I've tried so many different options. Even a vet suggested probiotic supplement. This food is amazing. I hate that it can be expensive at times for my budget but it has been a lifesaver. He hardly pukes anymore when he's eating Avoderm. I was kinda shocked that a food could help so much.

I have a 13-year-old cat that’s been on Purina one since a kitten and her coat was starting to deteriorate. My vet said I should find a food with high omega-3/fish oil in it and this one fit the build. Within two weeks of using this product this cat started to get diarrhea, blood in her urine and was diagnosed with bladder stones. No one can be 100% positive that it was the food but it’s an awful coincidence. I must say her coat definitely changed for the better but I am confident that the food brought about the stones. I reached out to the company by email only as there’s no contact information or phone number anywhere for them ...with no response.! Not worth the chance especially with no customer support

This cat food is amazing! I can only feed my cat hairball control food but she also needs a weight control formula. I originally was feeding her Halo hairball control (which is a great brand as well with healthy ingrediants) but she isn't very active and was gaining weight from the high calorie content. I switched her to this brand which helps control weight and helps with hairballs with the plus of being healthy! She's lost a healthy amount of weight, she eats a normal amount of the food and is super happy. She hardly ever throws up now and seems to love this food.

This is absolutely the BEST food. Not only did it stop my 2 cats from throwing up but you should feel their hair...so soft and silky and one is a Persian. I can''t begin to tell you how many different foods I've gone through...to no avail until now. Do not hesitate...buy this food. Whereas it's on the pricey side you actually use less so don't let that stop you from making a purchase. Another thing..my cats are unbelievably mellow now...I guess a good meal will do that...even if you're a cat!

My cats liked it, but after reading another review, I decided to check behind the label. It was 2 1/2 months past the expiration date! How convenient to past the label over the date. I would never have taken a chance with my cats. Shame on y'all!

When I was unable to get to the store and in need of dry cat food right away. l thought I had another container full and I did not. I ordered this one and it came very quickly and of course Mr. Spoiled kitty ate it like it was filet minion!He was very happy with it and it was not difficult to change from his usual to this brand as I feared it might be.
