Walker's Youth Children’s Low Profile Padded Headband Adjustable Folding Noise-Reducing Hearing Protection Earmuffs

I bought these for my 14 month old because we live in Central Florida and fireworks are a religion here (especially if you live on a lake). I want to protect his little ears from mortars, rockets, and quite possible cannons. The fit is perfect. They are snug which he's not crazy about, but necessary for them to provide the sound protection I'm looking for. I tried them on my adult sized female head and the band is too short so they don't go down all the way so the bottom of my ears stick out. So size is as described 6 months to 8 years old.The things that I like about these are: The size is perfect he doesn't have some huge band projecting from the top of his head. The band fits snug to his head to help keep in place. They fold up easily for travel and storage. They look cool. The camo is gender neutral. These are also sold at the big box stores so I know the quality and sound protection is up to par vs. some questionable no name brand. They are light weight and comfortable.Things that could be improved: The band isn't adjustable lengthwise. The plastic and cushion on the band feels a little cheap.I added photos of the muffs folded and also of what the inner side of the ear cup looks like.Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and think they will hold up well under regular wear and usage. Got these for taking kids to the range and they work great! They can pinch glasses against the temple and cause discomfort for small children, so I got elastic-banded safety glasses to accommodate.

Super fast shipping, tight on the baby's head. Adjustable to fit bigger sizes if needed

Used it for my baby to sleep at a big party. They worked very well in that aspect and he slept very soundly through a loud hispanic party. The problem was that they difficult to put on, easily flipping closed (a good feature to store, but not good when you're trying to put them on a baby) and they’re very tight. They technically can fit a toddler or child too because it is made to close regardless of head size, but they’re too tight and forceful even on a baby. They’re great for keeping the sound out and my baby was shocked and froze immediately upon placement of them. If you really need something to protect your baby or little one from loud noise or, like me, sleeping through it, they’re a great option. But remember that it’s very tight and you probably won’t want to leave them on them for too long.

I read so many reviews saying this wasn’t adjustable, so I want to clear that up here for anyone wondering. The black headband part is NOT adjustable, which is what I believe people were assuming. The two thin metal rods on each earmuff ARE adjustable. I’ve attached two photos to demonstrate this: one with the metal rods stored away (as it appears straight from the package), and one with them fully extended. You can get a perfectly customized fit by extending these metal rods however long you need to. They pull in and out quite easily when you have the headband on your head. At full length, this actually fits my adult head very comfortably. I bought it for my toddler, but I’m pleasantly surprised that I can also use it myself when my next migraine attacks.

I bought this for my toddler aged daughter after we had a volume issue (too loud) at a sporting event. We haven’t tried them out at another sporting event, so I’ll report back when we do…that said, a ton of my neighbours are fixing their homes. It’s contractor-ville. My kid kept complaining about the loud noises, so I put them on my daughter, and they worked well.She loved the vibrant blue colour, so it was easy to get them on her head, and once they were on, she was content and the complaining stopped.I am happy with this purchase

Would not comfortably fit my 8 year old. My kids are not very large for their age. I wouldn't expect this to fit any kid over 6. Had to return. Product seemed well made for small children. Bought the same product in the adult size which fit well.

Excellent product

Ótimo abafador, porém não parece ser confortável, pois faz pressão para fechar, o que também não possibilita a criança colocar sozinha, pois é preciso usar de força para abrir. Acredito que abafe bem o som, pois minha filha pede para pôr quando há muito barulho, e então, fica de boa. Ela é autista e tem sensibilidade auditiva.

Bought for my 2 yr old to wear at tractor pulls, they adjust to fit his head but also big enough to fit mine when cutting wood. Comfy. Happy with the purchase.

Recomendo. Chegou no prazo (nota 10 pra Amazon e vendedor). Produto conforme anúncio. Meu filho autista de 6 anos (que é grandinho) pediu um abafador e esse serviu direitinho. O tamanho é ajustável nas laterais (quando abri a embalagem até achei que não fosse ajustável). Quando ajustado no máximo, cabe até na cabeça de um adulto. Vi avaliações dizendo que não é ajustável, mas é sim. Abafa bem os ruídos do ambiente, mas não isola o som. Testei aqui, e continuo ouvindo a TV (um pouco mais baixo), mas não ouço nenhum ruído de fundo. Se meu filho criticar algo com o tempo, eu ajudo a avaliação.
