Main issue is the option, I wanted the USB C option, thought I had selected it....but didnt :( The module are amazing, supports almost everything. Try using ESPconnect, a web based modifier and programmer.

Used to control LED strips
Bought to use as LED controllers. Install WLED on them and off you go. Only 4 stars as I had to send one lot back as the WIFI failed on one of them.

Amazing LED light effects with WLED
Using these to run WLED with some LED strips. Brilliant effects, easy to set up and exceptional value for money. They are compact in size, and have so far been flawless. Perfect for what I’m using them for. I was worried it would be hard to get them working, but it couldn’t have been easier and took less than ten minutes to load in the WLED software and connect to WiFi and the app. Brilliant product which I’m happy to recommend.

Works great
Works great. i use it as a Bluetooth proxy for home assistant. I connect a Govee humidty sensor and Tuiss smart blinds from blinds 2 go.

Lovely little gadgets
Only used one out of the three but it works very well. I've configured it as a Bluetooth proxy and connected it to my Govee room temperature sensor, that's then connected to homeassistant and it works perfectly.

All good so far and excellent value
My first venture into using an ESP32 and I am pleased with these boards so far. Each board was packed with foam protection over the pins in an anti-static bag with three boards in one outer bag. They were not damaged and all the pins are straight and vertical on the boards. Appears to be very clean soldering with all components straight. I have tested two boards with some simple experiments using the Arduino IDE and both worked correctly. As usual with many of these boards you need to press the Boot button to upload a sketch but there is a well documented work-around for this if you feel the need. To date I have tested WIFi (two modes), Bluetooth basic, Serial Communication and PWM outputs with the intention of developing an audio project for a remote control Lego model when I know more. Good value for three well made boards that perform as expected.

Work well as advertised - Micro USB connector - would have preferred USB C - wasn't obvious in the listing

Habe sie schon 4 mal bestellt. Leider etwas teuer, aber wenn man sie braucht 👩🔧 Qualität ist gut, aber sind ja die gleichen wie es Fernost, aber nur teurer 😉

Wifi is very poor on these boards. Workable if you put it in 1 meter distance of the access point, 2 meters or more it’s terrible.

Perfect, werkt zeer goed in home assistant. Gebruikt om BEKO wasmachine te monitoren.

Die 3er Packung ESP32 kam fix an. Jeder ESP ist in einer eigenen antistatischen Packung (toll!). Die Pins sind wie auf dem Produktbild erkennbar nach unten angelötet und gerade ausgerichtet. Damit die Pins nicht beschädigt werden sind diese in ein Plastik-Kissen gepresst, ob das auch Antistatisch ist kann ich nicht beurteilen. Alle drei ESPs sind dann nochmal in einem Tütchen zusammen verpackt. Hier können andere Gegenstände der Lieferung beschädigungen verursachen. Die Verpackung ist also leider etwas einfach... Ich habe einen ESP direkt ausgepackt und WLED geflashed. Das ging ohne Probleme und ohne BOOT button. Beim Testen habe ich festgestellt, dass der ESP gut warm wurde ohne das er viel zu tun hatte. Ich kann es nicht nachtesten gehe aber davon aus, dass er ein kleiner Schluckspecht ist was den Strom angeht. Alles in allem ist es ein gutes DEV-Kit. Für Anwendungen mit wenig Ventilation oder bei Betrieb über Batterie sollte aber eventuell nach einem sparsameren Modell gesucht werden.
