Powertec Fitness Workbench LAT Tower Accessory, Black

I had been looking at this particular attachment ever since i bought my Power Tec Multi Press almost six months ago!! I always told myself that i wouldnt need it and that its too much money...Boy was i wrong, i finally went ahead and bit the bullet and bought this thing and have been extremely happy with it, it works really well, I love Power Tec for that reason, all their products feel like the same high quality you see in gyms and this attachment is no different, its sturdy and does not wobble or anything.. The pull down motion is nice and smooth with no squeaks or creeks, you can always put some Lithium Grease on the square steel tube to make it even smoother, which is what i did. It comes with the handles and i use it for lat pull downs, rows, bicep curls and tricep pull downs also.. Solid piece of equipment and im so glad i bought it off amazon, came in time and for a good price too..

I was scheduled to receive this product between the 17th and the 24th of March. To my surprise I received it on the 14th, very happy with that. The packaged looked in pretty good condition, however there were some cosmetic damage, like scuffs and scratches. There was a squared plastic thingy that came broken, don't really know where that went. Also one one of the bolts for the pulleys didn't match the others ( others were threaded halfways, versus the 3rd being completely threaded). That's probably my only major complain. As the cosmetics won't affect the functionality of the equipment.Overall I'm excited for this lat attachment, and will be sure to update when I have time using it.

Gavin was dead on with his review so I don't have to write it all, thanx bud :) the weight sleeve definitely was tricky, butter knives needed for sure. Other than that this is a very solid and smooth lat tower, you will not find one like this as an attachment, you would have to buy a complete lat machine for this quality. If you own any Marcy Pro benches this will fit perfectly, now get your wings and fly :)

It didnt fit my powertec utility bench that it claim wil fitl ALL powertec untility benches in the advertisement, So I had no other choice but 2 buy another powertec bench which cost a lot than I wanted 2 spend

Man of man this is an incrediable item worth the price, i am 6ft 4 inches and it fits me perfectly no more waiting hours at the gym to do pulldowns. Came in about 5days.

This lat tower is fantastic! I was a little apprehensive to purchase because I have had a Marcy smith machine that had a square tube kind of cable tower and it was complete garbage, but this cable tower is so much better because the pulley bearings are super smooth. This was a nightmare to put together for me because the weight holders that slide on to the square tube has a plastic piece on the inside which stops it from sliding onto the metal tube. Eventually I had to take 4 regular kitchen knives to keep the plastic piece flush on all four sides of the square hole so it would slip on. Took me 40 mins to get this on. Something so simple can be so frustrating. But after assembly it has been great. I am 6 foot with long arms and i am able to get full stretch to do lat pulldowns. It comes with a foot plate to do seated rows which is great because I don't have to sit on the ground for a change. If you want to see this product in action check out sams fitness on YouTube he has a few videos of it. The only exercise that is limited for me on this is cable bicep curl because of the height at which the cable starts when I am standing the motion does not start low enough to get full movement but I have dumbbell for that and ez curl bar. You can also lie flat on the bench and do bicep curls lying down for a change which works great too. Another little annoyance is that if you want to put the bench in an up right position you have to take this piece off at least this is the case when I have this attachment on my powertec multipress. And when you take it off you have to prop it up somewhere or you will have to buy or make a stand for it. But despite all of these minor issues it still deserves 5 stars in my eyes because it has a smooth operation, comes with great cable accessories with nice rubber finish, footplate is great, metal feels heavy and thick and the whole package seems well built. Far exceeded my expectations for a simple lat tower attachment!
