Slow Traffic 12" X 12" Aluminum Sign (X133)

This sign is large enough to easily be seen from the road. It is intended to slow traffic on our back road so that the gopher tortoises can safely move from property to property and not be squished. It is holding up well to the weather and is visually appealing.

What a great addition to the dirt road (or patio for that matter), when you live in the desert southwest or perhaps anywhere should you find yourself a fan of the tortoise! The sign is well made (aluminum not plastic), and in color too. Mine has been out weathering the desert sun, wind and traffic for over two months now and looks great. I hope it holds out for a long time because everyone likes it and makes remarks about it. I waxed it heavily with the hope of having it last longer but I'm not sure what kind of an effect that will have.Overall, it's a great sign at a very fair price. I bought several others too since I was so pleased with the purchase. I believe on a patio or a sheltered area the sign should easily have a longevity of 7-10+ years.

Sign is high quality. It has spent four months on a back wall in the Phoenix sun with no fading. We have a tortoise in the backyard and this sign is perfect! Metal is thick. It is shipped with plastic over the sign to keep it from being scratched.
