We used this 5-pack of blue plastic drain plugs on our 1997 Bayliner Capri 1850LS with a Mercury MerCruiser 4.3L LH marine engine, and they worked perfectly. The fit was spot on, threading in snugly with no leaks or issues.They feel durable for plastic and seem like a solid replacement for the originals. I really like that the pack includes extras—great value for the price, especially if you tend to misplace one during winterization or maintenance.Installation was simple, and they sealed up the exhaust manifold and block drains exactly as expected. If you’ve got a MerCruiser setup like ours, this kit is a safe bet.

Swapped all our plugs on a Mercury Marine 7.4mpi. Solid plugs. Work as expected.

They are typical Amazon Chinese aftermarket parts but they work. Probably won't last as long as the Quicksilver or Merc manufactures ones. You might get by with replacing "O" rings on your old ones. I did find out I has some leaking when I replaced them.

I am big (290 pounds) and tall (6' 3") and I struggle a bit to fit inside the locker adjacent to the engine compartment on my surf boat. It is not made for people my size. It's no surprise to me that during the boat yoga sessions I drop a drain plug from time to time and it's nice having spares handy so I don't have to waste too much time getting even more contorted trying to get the lost plugs from under the engine!
