Great size and shape
I was getting really frustrated trying to get rid of the grounds with metal or other types of reusable filters so opted for these. They work great, I like the the slim design means it won't bunch up when you remove it from a narrow necked bottle and the mesh is fine enough that it doesn't leave any grounds behind in your cold brew. Cleanup is a breeze

Perfect for nitro cold brew!
Was looking for replacement ts for my nitro filters…. It uses 2 narrow filters the same length. I bought these thinking I could just use a single larger filter and it works great while saving money.

Great Cold Brew Bags
So... my husband loves his cold brew! He drinks an iced coffee every morning before work and then another one when he comes home in the evening. I decided to switch to loose grounds and disposable bags when the popular name brand of prepackaged cold brew we were using would have bags that'd tear open every time we'd try to pull them out. All I can say is: These long draw string bags are fantastic!!! We use a 2 quart wide mouth jar with a spin on lid and handle for our coffee. These bags pop right out so easily when it comes time to remove them. I use one and a half cups of coffee grounds in each bag. I twist the end of the bag until there's no space left in it and then bend over the end and wrap the strings around in opposite directions and then tie it. I then placed the bag in the jar and screw the lid on. Then I open the spout hole and fill the jar all the way up to the top. If you don't put the lid on before filling it, the bag always starts to float up and push out the top before you even make it halfway. Not going to lie... It took us a few times before we realized the needed to be on before filling! After it's sat in the fridge for a little while, I always top it off with a little more water once it has absorbed into the bag. I usually let it sit in the fridge for 2 to 3 days to brew before we use it. We have 2 jars and rotate. I've never once had a bag get soft and rip on me. The bags are very good quality and I definitely plan on re-purchasing them when I run out!

coffee that's worth the wait
Just as described! This is a great little bag of filters. I just made a great cold brew with them. They are a little long for the pitcher I use but they hold all the sediment I am trying to keep out of my cold brew. I'll be buying a few more of these.

Great product!
Everything about this product is high quality! A little on the expensive side! But well worth the money for ease of cleanup after making cold brew at home

Not as much of a time/mess-saver as I hoped
I was hoping I could just keep making cold brew concentrate the way I always have, but with less mess. But I have to change up the way I brew entirely now to use these. I will say they're made well and I'm going to keep trying to use them, but unsure whether I'll stick with it.Before buying these bags, I'd use a measuring cup to scoop 4 cups coffee grinds and float them in a pitcher of 8 cups water, stir immediately and again after a few hours, then strain later with a sift and paper towel. Now that I have the bags, first issue was that I can't use my measuring cup, the opening on the bags is too small to pour into. So I have to use a teaspoon which takes 10x longer and the grinds spill everywhere. Each bag will hold 2 cups of ground coffee each, so my pitcher needs 2 bags...but then the tops of the tall bags stick out of the water so I had to add more water and dilute my concentrate. And then this requires more stirring because the bags are pretty tightly packed (which is a pain when you have to stir full pitcher with 2 huge bags in it).Basically, after buying these cold brew bags I need to buy more gear to use them effectively. Now need a funnel and a larger pitcher/jar at the least, or it ends up being even messier than without them.

Smell
I wanted to love these, but when I opened the package, there was a strong bleach odor. I left the bag open for a couple of days so the filters could air out. I could smell the bleach from another room. I use organic coffee made with spring water and unbleached coffee filters, and drink spring water, so the thought of using these bleached filters made me hesitant. But... I tried them for 2 or 3 days. They made my coffee cloudy. Although they were so much easier to use, I went back to pouring through an unbleached filter........Ok I changed my rating to 3 stars. The smell is gone, I have been using them, only I still pour the coffee through an unbleached coffee filter and takes the sludge out and my coffee is clearer and not cloudy. It's a lot easier to get rid of the grounds in a bag. Changed my review from 3 to 4 stars, only because they are not unbleached . I still pour my coffee through a regular coffee filter, but I do LOVE these. They were out when I needed more, and I ordered different short ones. They were too thick and my coffee was real weak. So I saw they had these back in stock and ordered more.
