Initially, I tried a popular button maker that was less expensive than this one. Although it worked, it just didn't work very consistently. I was wasting more buttons and materials than I was creating. That led me to look for something more robust. This machine, is incredible easy to setup, use and works consistently. I have pressed around 100 buttons and only one has been a failure which was due to my not paying attention to what I was doing (I didn't push the lever all the way down). Build quality on this is very good. Everything is made of sturdy metal, which, if you are pressing a lot of buttons, is very necessary. Magnets hold the die's in place and they are lettered so you don't accidentally mix them up. Speaking of, you can easily buy new dies which expand its capabilities to other button sizes and shapes. I'm presently making 2.25" 1" and 1.5" buttons all with the same press. The act of making the buttons is very smooth and consistent. This wasn't my experience with lesser quality makers. You can easily tell when you have pressed the button completely. It requires a lot less force than a cheaper press. One tip I have is that you use the metal swivel post as your center point for aligning the pin back. I didn't realize that at first and some of my button backs were slanted. I would recommend that you try using their branded glossy paper as well. I found that the thickness is perfect for all button sizes and the clarity of the print is quite good. I have also used some thinner matte finish papers and had no issues but I like that overall finish of their glossy product under the mylar. Additionally, the included hand punch is fantastic. It has the same sort of sturdy reliable feeling build quality as the press. I ended up getting more for other sizes and the amount of time you save with them is easily worth the purchase assuming you are making a large quantity of buttons. Anyhow, despite this press being more than some others, I find that it far surpasses cheaper presses in it's overall build quality and ease of operation. For me, I am saving money and time in the long run as I am not wasting half my materials and getting frustrated with inconsistent results. I contacted the manufacturer once to clarify some things on the smaller button die and they got back to me immediately. If you are looking for a button press that performs well and comes with good quality materials and components, I highly recommend giving this press a shot.

I am so thankful to have found this brand of button making machines. It came fully assembled and was simple to use. The quality was worth the price. Black and with metal parts. It's small enough for me to carry with me to our local events to allow for customization for our customers. One thing important to remember, if you try to punch material that is too think , pick up too many mylar cover, or use two metal pieces accidentally it can get stuck. But. Easy to fix

No assembly required, made completely out of heavy sturdy metal, and consistently great buttons! I was on the hunt for a good button press for awhile and tried lots of hunks of junk so I was ecstatic when I found this one! And the website has different size/shape molds you can but and easily change. In love with how this is made and functions. Worth the money.

Button pieces are pressed firmly and quickly. I have had no mistakes. A very professional strong piece of equipment.

The machine is sturdy, all metal and it works right out of the box. I was making buttons within minutes and am now making professional looking buttons. The instructions are clear, concise and they made it possible to get the machine to work. Just in time for pride festivals!

If you are considering investing in a button maker, I would highly recommend this one 100%. I read so many reviews comparing other products and this one stood out. The parts are metal and reflect a high quality product that is very sturdy and consistent when making buttons. The material to make the buttons are also metal where some that come with other machines have plastic backs. I have made over 20 buttons now and all turned out perfectly. I love the cutter that comes with it too, it cuts the paper perfectly to size and is easy to use. You won't be disappointed!

Looked at many models before buying this one. watched all the videos and once you take the time, they truly come out great. have made over 100 buttons so far, every one turned out perfect. it came with 2 spacer rings for the 37mm button, i put one in the mold at first, made a test and lined up perfect for the back to mesh with the top. after about 100 buttons, i thought i would see what 2 shims did, bent and folded the front side, making it obvious 1 shim is the correct spacing for 37mm round. very smooth action of the arm, well built, heavy duty feel when you compress the handle at each step. The cutter that came with this package is fantastic, smooth and crisp punch outs. build solid, truly heavy metal construction, you can feel it even before you open the box its solid. smooth action rotating the molds to complete, Dies install and lock in perfectly. very sturdy even not mounted to a bench or desk, has never felt like it was going to tip over or slip while pressing the front or back. doing the top plate, paper and plastic you squeeze that down as far as you can, when you put the back on, it bottoms out on the handle giving you a good feeling you have it fully in place. took a few to figure out placement of back cover to make it line up horizontal so the displayed picture is level. but once you see the positioning of that, easy to put it in the right spot every time, even a little black marker dot can help you line up the hole in the pin for exact placement. 10/10 so far with the first 100 buttons .

Did a lot of research to find a button machine that wouldn’t cost both arms but would still actually work well enough to produce quality buttons. I think i have found the one. Granted it’s my first day of use, but 50-60 buttons later I have ruined only 2 of them, and it was completely my fault as I was not paying attention. The machine seems very sturdy, the part included as well, the pper cutter included in the kit is super effective, great surprise. It is overall very user friendly and I intend to make hundred of these to sell in art markets. No doubt the supporters are going to appreciate this quality product

This button maker is awesome! I bought it for my business, and it produces great buttons every time. It takes about five minutes to get used to, and you might make a few mistakes, but this is a great button maker. All of the components are metal, and the button maker is metal, which speaks to a higher quality than some other button makers on here. I definitely recommend this button maker!

It's great for crafting! Easy to use. It's not huge either so it doesn't take up a ton of space. Good quality - very sturdy!
