Ive been using this monster PTFE on 3 pressure washer rigs and anytime i have a leak or failure its never due to any threads leaking!

I got introduce to these when I went to a local plumber shop to get a well pump, and the store own told me to throw out all my other thread tape and start using these. Using these in combination with pipe sealant I never had issue with my well joints and it has been over 10 years now. These tape are extra thick, just 4 to 5 times around feels like it is thicker than 8 to 10 times around for the cheap white tapes.

What we wanted to use it for didn’t really work. We had a pin size leak in a copper pipe . We just wanted to try and see if it would work for that. But we needed to replace the whole pipe.But for taping end of pipes yes it would be good for that

This the best tape I have found, it stays on the threads when you are wrapping it and does not slide around like some of the others. Seals great and is a great size roll.

Most cheaper teflon tape brands are too flimsy and roll up on itself before you can attach it to the threads, but this is heavier duty and works much better.
