California CostumesChild Paul Revere Costume

I ordered this for my third grader for his living history project and will also use it for colonial day at his elementary school next year. He was Thomas Jefferson for his living history day and wore this while giving a speech. My son is 9 years old, 4 1/2 feet tall, and about 60 pounds. The size 8 to 10 fits nicely and it’s easy for him to get it on and off. I would buy this again.

I bought this costume for my son's school report on Paul Revere. My son is 9 1/2 and slender and this youth medium fit perfectly, though the vest was a little short so I made sure to put a shirt underneath the vest so his stomach didn't show. I paired it with white knee socks and added the lantern. I would have given it a 5 (for looks) except for a button that was loose in the package so I had to sew that on and after washing I noticed another was loose. Also the hat is of no use, it is, as other reviewers have stated, all mashed up and really not useable so I picked up a pirate trifold hat at Party City. They should remove the hat and lower the price. Overall though, got great compliments on it, it looked fantastic and he was comfortable to wear it all day! Hoping it still fits for Halloween!

This was a needed costume for a school event and it was perfect! The fit was perfect, lightweight; nothing fancy but if you want something that looks authentic for purposes of show, this was it!

The costume is the standard cheap production however the shoe buckles were not included.

My son was actually Captain Cook and wore this for a school presentation. It was perfect! The pants run a bit big compared to the jacket but we rolled the waist and it was ok. Would be best if the pants fit snug around the upper calf but was loose on him (pants overall too big). But still good enough. He is nearly 10 and average size for his age and wore a Med. We added a wig and it was great!Needed to steam the entire thing but then it was good to go!

This did the job changing my son into Paul Revere for the American Revolution School play! The costume is well made and our hat was just fine. He is 10 and wears 8-10 regular, Medium. So this medium fit well, even a little room to spare. I didn’t even buy a lantern! The costume was enough. But someone did lone him a stick horse!

This is an okay costume. Personally I like costumes that look very realistic. The buttons are drawn/painted on, so are the eyelets. I ended up purchasing a different more stiffer head peice since this one came squished in the package. The costume material is pretty thin, so I added 2 layers of thermals underneath (cold state). This way my son didn’t have to wear a coat over his costume. It doesn’t come with tights/stockings. Overall it served its purpose. My son received a lot of compliments on his costume.
