Just got this and I'm a happy little camper.This watch case is solid and built well. The top is glass and is packed well for shipping. The hinges aren't that exciting but they work well and will hold the top open. The pillows are nice and soft - not stiff. There are 4 small feet on the bottom which helps keep it off the dresser a bit and slide well. The bottom drawer is great for my pocket and smaller watches, as well as other doodads. I finally have a nice-looking case to put all the loose timepieces I had everywhere in my bedroom. Looking around the internet there are so many choices at so many price levels (and many bad reviews), so I thought I would buy an 'amazon one' for now. But honestly, this case checks all the boxes and is now a permanent addition to my bedroom. The only picky downside is the front is not one solid piece of wood, so you can easily see the lid, front, and drawer as separate pieces. (a hand-made one would use one piece of wood to make it look seamless.). The bottom drawer is great but not as smooth as something custom-made either. But none if these is a detractor. For $35 this is an amazing deal, and I highly recommend it.

Ordered this watch storage box for my boyfriend for Christmas. He loved it. Good price for the product received. Depending on the storage amount you choose this will hold a ton of watches. Also has a nice glass top.

Looks nice, but you can tell it’s cheaply made. When I opened it for the watch area, the hasp fell off. I had to force the drawer open and it will not close now all the way. I am scared to use any force because it is so thinly made. But it does hold my watches.

Very nice wood watch case. I love the drawer for rings and tie clips etc. the finish on the wood isn’t a high polished shine. Has more of a bare wood feel however still very nice. If really motivated I guess you could put a nice clear coat over it if so inclined. The brown cloth lining is almost the identical color of the brown wood. Some say the watch pillows are too small but I haven’t found that to be an issue. My only complaint is the latch. It’s pretty flimsy. I bent it by accident and had to carefully bend it back. It does the job but I will definitely look for something to replace it. Overall a great case for a very modest watch collection.

Great quality.Looks amazing. I ordered another case at the same time but when this arrived I had to return the first case. This is great quality. The watch pillows fit my watches and my wife's. Solid construction and I love the way it looks. Two thumbs up

I’m an amateur furniture maker. If I could have made a watch box of this size at twice the price, I would have. This is a good value, even if it’s not a high quality piece. For $38, you can’t beat such a complex item with so much material. With some love, it can appear like a far nicer piece as well. I used block plane to chamfer the edges of all the moving parts to hide some of the slop in the drawer and lid. I removed the lacquer finish and smoothed out the roughness with a scraper, and did 3 quick coats of shellac I rubbed out the shellac with 0000 steel wool and followed up with a thin coat of paste wax. The result looks like a decent heirloom piece with about 90 mins of work.

Very nice container for anyone. It was correct size and good quality.

The case feels rough. I'll have to sand it down, reapply stain and maybe a shellac.The construction looks ok.Haven't used it yet, but I think it will be a good case after the rework.Not worth the cost due to the rework required.
