un-du Original Formula Sticker, Tape and Label Remover (Cannot Be Sold in California) - 4 Ounce

Un-du is amazing! After my son's graduation party, I needed to remove pictures that I don't have in digital form from foam trifolds. The "removable" adhesive dots I used to secure the photos were not so removable. I tested on pictures I did have digitally first just to be safe. I was amazed that even though the liquid got all over the picture, there was absolutely NO damage to the photo. The liquid dries quickly and the adhesive was easily removed especially with the help of the included scraper tool. This product saved precious photos!

This product is nothing short of a miracle! No exaggeration. I often buy used records but only those in near mint condition. For some reason these used record stores like to apply ugly gummy price stickers right on the record labels. Whether a price sticker or those annoying multi-colored round office stickers, they are difficult or darn near impossible to remove without damaging or tearing the label. Un-du works like magic at removing stickers from sensitive record label paper. The clear liquid rapidly saturates the sticker and lifts it from the label. I then carefully pull it off and there is no residue, label bubbling or damage to the record label whatsoever. The applicator/scraper thing is a little weird but I guess it's designed to start lifting the sticker off as soon as the liquid comes out as the Un-do evaporates very quickly. I prefer to tilt the bottle, let some liquid come out and gather some up with a plastic pick and then apply it the sticker myself. I feel like I have more control doing it that way. The product is color-less, odor-less and even works on 40-50 year old stickers.

This is the best sticky substance remover. Won’t harm photos. I use this all the time to get sticky stuff off my scissors and other crafting tools.

This product does remove most stickers leaving no residue or scent behind. It evaporates well. I used it on two spinal library stickers to perfection. A tougher barcode sticker on front of book jacket mostly removed with very little surface loss, but not to perfection when working quickly. Top edge of that sticker was left in place when repeated application of Un-du eventually softened paper enough that handling it wore a small hole, again when working quickly with pretty determined scraping. Might have worked better if I was gentler at the work. Tape was removed successfully, but it left glue behind on the jacket.

I discovered this when I was into crafting. I would put tape on the back of a piece of paper and then try to align it correctly onto another piece of paper. 99% of the time I could not get it even. I soaked the paper with this, and both pieces separated immediately. When they dried, they looked no different from when I had started. This is a miracle product. I’ve used it to take stickers off of my car, stickers off glasses, and all sorts of paper crafting. We keep a couple of bottles at a time on hand. And now with Christmas? If I’m trying to wrap a present and I want to look beautiful, then I keep a bottle of this out. Not to mention, when you are working with tape and paper, when everything has dried out, the tape will become sticky again. Like I said, a miracle product. One thing I want to mention is there is another version of this with a green label. Something about not having a chemical that is banned in California. That version doesn’t work half as well as this one. Just so you know!

I'm still looking for a 5 star label remover. Compared to Goof-off, Oops, mineral spirits, brake cleaner, acetone and similar solvents, this is kind of in the middle. So far a 24 hour soak in water with dish detergent, scrape off the label paper, followed by mineral spirits for the glue is in the lead.

I love this product. It works great for removing price stickers or any other kind of gluey gunk. I had lost my previous source and was delighted to find it available on Amazon.

Best product on the market. All scrapbookers and cardmakers swear by how well it works. I really helps when you have to reposition embellishments that aren't quite in the right place
