I recently purchased the Lattafa Bade'e Al Oud Amethyst fragrance, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with my choice! I purchased the Amber Spicy for my son. It’s definitely masculine and it has a clean, and crisp aroma that stays on and doesn’t lose its scent on the one wearing it. I’d say it’s wearability is excellent. It’s not overpowering, and the spice is just right.I think it’s like a cross between a good men’s cologne and a men’s body spray and that makes it different from the many scents available. I think its warmth is very alluring without being overpowering.My son sprays it and walks into the mist and that’s enough to get this sexy aroma on a gentleman. Just like men love to smell a woman, the converse is true for women! Being that you only need one squirt to do the job, one bottle will last for a long time.I’d definitely recommend this product, but please note that it’s definitely masculine.

Lattafa is becoming one of my favorite brands. I love this perfume house and they have many fragrance and types. Well done and you can see they care about their products. Although this is a well thought of and reviewed fragrance, it's not my type or skin chemistry type. I do like the smell okay, just not wearing it. I had a feeling I would not like it before I placed my order so it wasn't a surprise. I do love how well it's put together and I do like most of the notes in this great fragrance. Many people give fragrances a bad review just because it's not their taste or type when it could be an excellent perfume. I try to be honest in my opinion. It didn't give me a headache like some have said. I do like the bottle. I'll end up giving away as a gift or something. Or may just keep it and wear from time to time. I don't hate it wearing it, it just doesn't jive with me, and a little harsh for my sensitive nose. Strong aromatics can be too much for me. This is on the lower side of being strong. I usually know if I will like something before I buy because I used to make perfume myself. I was 60/40 I wouldn't like it as much. It's like I like the scent, but it doesn't like me, if that makes sense.

The bottle is nice quality, the juice itself starts out kind of harsh to tell the truth (first sprays smelled almost like burning rubber!), but once you let it dry down for a few minutes, it morphs into a pretty pleasant scent, musky and slightly sweet, but not too sweet. On the skin, it lasts for about 2-3 hours for me, lingers even longer on clothes. Be forewarned, this is not a scent for everybody. It is on the 'bold' side for sure. This definitely leans very masculine and for the price, it is worth a shot if you want something that doesn't smell like everything else that's out on the market. This is a night/cooler weather type fragrance in my opinion.
