Gooby Simple Step in III Harness - Green, Large - Small Dog Harness with Scratch Resistant Outer Vest - Soft Inner Mesh Harness for Small, Medium Dogs

I saw someone at the vet office using the same harness. I asked to find out what the name was I ordered one. I have a small chihuahua mix. This harness is super easy and quick to put on and secures my dog very well. When he starts to go where he doesn’t need to I simply pull the leash straight up and towards me and it quickly corrects where my dog goes. I like that the harness doesn’t go around his neck so when correcting him with the leash it doesn’t choke him. I’ll also add that this harness was priced very reasonably. I finish by just saying that I’m very happy with this product and highly recommend it for anyone looking for something that’s not complicated, easy to put on, and just functions very well.

This harness is awesome!Easy to use, easy to get on, not easy to escape.For those wondering about how to tell which way goes to the front, as somebody who has put them on wrong a few times, the pointier bit goes to the front.

My dog likes to pull and chokes himself with collars so Ive now tried a few harnesses and this one works great for him. Another gooby brand ive bought the fabric frays really bad but this one doesnt its held up so well even with both our dogs wrestling around with them on. The only thing is we never know which way it goes on but it seems to fit ok either way? I think the pointy side goes in the front? I wish theyd label front/back on it but thats minor for quality and price its a great harness that my Boston terriers dont mind wearing. I ended up buying another for my other dog who hates wearing Anything and she doesnt seem to mind this one as much as others. Very adjustable and stays tight even when leash isnt pulled tight so they cant slip out. Id buy again!

I'd tried various harnesses for my 17 lb. Corgie/Pappion mix but most were bulky or rigid with straps or adjuster buckles that pinched under my dog's front legs or cut across his neck. This Goby harness is minimal and softer with adjusters on top which don't interfere with his walking. Because of the location of the adjusters, it tightens around his chest rather than his neck, a comfort which he seems to like. Based on measurements, my dog was just between the small/medium size. I ordered both - the small was too small but the medium fit well (I'll donate the small to an animal rescue group.) After many tries, I think I finally found the best harness for my dog!

Easy to put on and off without sticking legs through holes no pressure on the neck for little dogs

If you’re someone who likes to use the harness just for walks a couple times a day, this a good option. It’s very easy to put on and take off, it’s durable, well made, seems comfortable for the dogs, although the chest strap hits higher on the chest than the comfort X does- it doesn’t seem to put pressure on that area which is good, and is secure. I prefer to keep the harness on because we have a puppy too and we’re in and out very quickly and many times per day. My biggest complaint is how the two buckle straps have excess length and bounce around when not attached to a leash. It somehow seems too big though I couldn’t size down or the chest/leg opening would be too small. I LOVE the Gooby Comfort X line though, and will stick with that since I prefer to keep their harnesses on most of the time.

This harness is easy to donn...but that's it's only plus.The adjustable straps do not stay where you've adjusted them...they slide right back to the "0" level no matter what I tried to secure them tighter. Therefore, this harness offers just the one fit.I would return it but my dog got it sideways and chewed it before I could get the leash attached.Waste of money.

Our rescue wants nothing put over his head and freaks out as soon as a leash or harness come in view. This was a great alternative to an over the head model and causes much less distress for him. Great option, has held up well, color is bright green. Nice harness.
