Great tool!
This crimper is great! It does a wonder Job crimping pins. It’s easy to adjust for different wire sizes, and easy to set up for different size pins. Definitely recommend this tool!

Good tool
The tool appears to be imported. No indication as to where it is made There are no instructions on how to use the tool. Amazon has a cryptic pictures on the tool and use of it. In the kit is a "guide" which I have yet to know its use. On the crimping tool you have to remove the safety pin before crimp size can be selected.

Worked perfect

Item received not as listed
The tool works well, as it should. However, I did not receive the item as pictured in the listing. Listing includes a case and stripper. Mine came in a cardboard box and the wire stripper was not included. Not a huge deal, but still not as advertised.

For the 180CAD I forked out for this, I'm happy enough with it. Yeah it's technically a knockoff of a German tool and, having used the proper one, not up to the same standard. The ratcheting mechanism is unreliable and it feels awkward in the hand. Also the little clip that is supposed to keep you from changing the wire size doesn't prevent you from doing so, so it's really just an inconvenience. On the plus side, it was 180 bucks and does a hell of a job crimping closed barrel pins. I've tested it on wires from 12 to 22AWG and it works great. Produces a solid connection that I need pliers to pull apart. For someone just messing around with wiring as a hobby, this works great and I'd definitely recommend it. But for a professional I think it would be a bit too fiddly.
