Feels pretty much identical to the OEM key. Best part about this key is that there is a reasonable amount of play in the key release button. Most non-OEM keys have overly sensitive release buttons and will come open in your pocket.I'm not sure that it is as well sealed against water as the original but hey, just get a few and if you kill one you can break out the other one. And maybe don't swim with key.Make certain you know where to have this key cut and programmed before buying... Most locksmiths can neither cut nor program these. They will have to use a laser key cutter and be able to program a Land Rover key. If you have a GAP IID tool you are set!

Regardless of what it says this key fob will NOT work on a 2009 Land Rover Range Rover.

My local locksmith was easily able to cut the key and program the new remote to my Land Rover LR3. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Had the key cut for $50.00 at the local locksmith......programmed the remote with a scan tool myself..... works as it should.Beats $700.00 the Land Rover Dealer wanted for same thing.Time will tell if the FOB lasts as long as an original from Land Rover.

This key worked perfectly on my 2009 Land Rover. Got the key copied by a locksmith and then programmed it myself in 2 minutes using my Autel AP-200. So simple, saved a lot compared to buying an original key.

This product worked for about three months. Had it cut at a locksmith and then programmed it with my scan tool. Worked flawlessly for three months and now all three buttons do not work. The key will still start the vehicle, but cannot lock, unlock, etc. Very disappointed.
