KIOXIA 32GB TransMemory U301 USB 3.2 Flash Drive, White

Very good value. Bough to create a bootable usb backup for my laptop. Write speeds fast, cap protects it when not in use. If I was using to transfer date files, photos, videos, would be used a lot more. I have several of these to keep back up copies of said folders plus my music. A different one for each type. Can just use a sharpie to write on the back of it regarding what folder is on it. First time I'd tried this brand but it's been very reliable so far.

It's cheap and it works. As others have said already it is very slow. I have a specific use in mind for retro gaming so that it will only be written to once and then only handle small files/writes. Read speed is fine for what I will need it for. At least the capacity is correct unlike other cheap units. If you are patient enough to wait on long writes or just use as a backup then it is fine. It won't win prizes for speed but the main reason I have rated higher is because it is so cheap and also not a fake capacity claiming to be more than it is.

I bought this to replace a 16gb USB used in my car for music. This usb seems to be a huge upgrade, a metal casing means its more durable, and hopefully keeps it slightly cooler. Seems very quick at reading and writing files, quite a nice addition when playing FLAC's through my car. Overall seems much better than a range of USB drives ive bought in the past, will be buying Kioxia again when other USB's die. Recommended, not the cheapest option but the better option (5yr warranty too)

Matches the appearance of the Toshiba drive that came with some recording equipment I have. Holds one to three movies per 16 GB drive, depending on length of movie.
