Excellent Sleep for Firm Mattress Enjoyers
If you are an individual who enjoys/needs a firm and supportive mattress this is the right pick for you. As someone who had neck and back pain from work and sports, I can say that this mattress holds my body in all of the right places and provides me with amazing sleep. It is also an excellent bang for your buck and is in my opinion one of the best values when it comes to mattresses. I never experienced a bad smell for this product however if anything it is somewhat heavy. Luckily you don’t move a mattress very often. All in all if you need a firm, budget mattress that you can depend on for a great nights sleep, buy this one

Good price mattress. Needs a topper over it.
God for the price. But need a topper to use it or it will be hard to sleep.

Firm, but comfortable.
I bought this for our guest bedroom. My daughter and her boyfriend use it when they come to visit. They are in their twenties, healthy and fit. I put a foam topper on this because had one that my son decided not to use on his bed. My daughter and her boyfriend both said it was firm, but really comfortable. Then we had some friends in their late 30’s come to stay for a few nights. They are a little heavy and complain about getting old and ‘creaky’ and not being able to sleep on floors or couches anymore. They thought it was totally comfortable. (Yes, I asked them to be honest because I was going to write a review. I didn’t want to risk them just being polite.) I took a nap on it once for about 20 minutes. I like firm mattresses and I thought this was pretty good. If I were to sleep on it all the time I might actually get a better quality foam topper. I am overweight and 50 years old with neck and back problems. My personal opinion is that if you like a firm mattress you can’t get a better mattress for the price. I would even venture to say you can’t do much better than this for $300 or $400. I think my 10 year old Beauty Rest is better, but I paid $800 or $900 on sale over a decade ago. The packaging, as everyone mentioned is pretty cool. It seemed like it took a day to really fully fill out. It is firm enough on the edges to sit on (some cheap mattresses just collapse at the edge). I’m pleased with my purchase.-LB

Best comfortable mattress
I love this mattress. It is so comfortable and very soft to sleep on. I now have a restful sleep at night without tossing and turning frequently like before I bought this mattress. I am very happy with this mattress.

I like it
This is gonna be a long and honest review i put a zippered cover over it to protect it as seen in the photo it hasn't expanded all the way yet. I do feel the springs though the mattress yes the mattress is hard. I would not recommend me it if your not gonna use a foam topper with that said... it's perfect for me because I have different kinds of foam on the top. A layer of high density foam a egg create a 2 inch latex topper and 2 inches of memory foam. Basically I used the mattress like you would box springs on a plat form bed. I love it the individual wrapped springs stop the motion and gives good suport then all that foam I have on top makes it soft. Like I said if you are just gonna lay on the mattress I don't think you will like it but with a topper it's great.

Decent, but not as good as a traditionally-purchased mattress. Definitely not firm.
Background: this was my first foray into the world of "compressed" mattresses shipped to you in a box. In the past, all our mattress purchases were the traditional "got to a store; lie down on a bunch of mattresses; pick one that seems like the best (or get tired of trying mattresses and just pick one); find out how much it costs; have a mild heart-attack; pay the creepy salesguy; wait for it to be delivered; hope it fits up the stairs" variety. Since this mattress would be for a 4-year old, and since I have yet to meet a 4-year old that can differentiate between the comfortableness level of a mattress (they can tell you how high they can bounce on it, sure, but not whether one is more comfortable than another), this seemed like the perfect opportunity to try this new method of mattress shopping. I admit, the idea of paying $180 for the 8" mattress seemed much more appealing than paying 4 times that much for one from the big store in the neighboring town.Review: This review covers only the 8" full-size version of this mattress. I don't know anything about any of the other versions, and for reasons that shall become clear, I won't be finding out. The delivery was perfect. UPS guy dropped off the box, unpacking it was straight-forward, and it decompressed into a mattress within 24 hours. The mattress itself... you get what you pay for. This was advertised as a firm mattress, and some of the reviews below attest that it is as hard as sleeping on concrete. As the adults in my family all prefer rock-hard mattresses, and as this is the safest option for kids, this was a selling point. Well, those reviewers either got a different product than I did or they have experienced some tremendously soft concrete in their lives. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 actually being a firm mattress, this is a solid 5.The feel of this mattress is fine, but it does feel significantly less well-constructed than its more expensive traditionally-bought siblings. In various ways it just feels worse. Edge-sitting, rebound, ability to feel springs through it, everything is acceptable, but just not as good as the more expensive ones.I contemplated returning it, but I doubt the kid will notice these differences, and besides, I am not exactly sure how I'd go about trying to compress it to ship it back. So, bottom line: it's a fine mattress, and if you are trying to outfit a kid's bed or a bed that's seldom used, it's likely a fine choice, but it's not quite up to par of the traditional mattresses. Which is too bad, since the delivery method is much more convenient (and allows larger mattresses to be delivered up narrower staircases.
