Review Date: 28/Feb 2021 Item: Litter Champ 3-Pack refill Stars given overall: 5 I am so glad I found the Litter Champ over my old Litter Genie Plus. We have 5 cats and multiple litter boxes. The Litter Champ system and it's bags are so much easier to maintain and I can go longer in between full bag change outs. The thickness seems to be well designed. I have only split a bag a few times while shaking it down. I never smell any feces or rancid smell coming out of the system. Do yourself a massive favor and get the Litter Champ system. It saves so many headaches with its design and size. Side Note: If you do buy the system go to the hardware store immediately and change out the screw under the lid to a high quality stainless steel one as the one it come with rusts quickly and easily from off gassing of urine.

I've had two Litter Champs for several years for my two cats. It's easy to scoop the clumps into the container, and installing and removing the bag is simple (although the bag can be heavy when full). Each bag lasts a long time, although that would depend on how often you remove it for disposal since you knot the top of the removed full bag and knot the end of the new bag that pulls down. My only complaint is that I sometimes can't tell when I'm nearing the end of the bags and scoop into a bag that no longer is attached at the top. This system is so much better than my previous one, and I'm glad I got it.

I like my Litter Champ disposal for cat litter. Convenient and easy to remove the bag of litter.

Don't get me wrong-Litter Locker is okay, but turning that crank (and sometimes large clumps of kitty litter would fall on the bottom of the Litter Locker), is a drag as is the frequent changes - AND the Litter Locker refills *COST A FORTUNE* especially the fact I have three cats. I bought Litter Champ because I was tired of buying refills for Litter Locker. Surprisingly there is no crank to turn, and it DOES CONTAIN the odors. For some reason when you deposit more kitty waste into the Litter Champ, I don't smell anything, and even with three cats you don't have to open the container and cut the bag for about, over 2 months - WHEREAS WITH LITTER LOCKER I HAD TO THAT EVERY WEEK! The entire bag supply - which with Litter Locker would last about three weeks..I had been using Litter Champ for over 6 months and didn't have to reload the bag supply YET. The savings is quite enormous. I bought these refills thinking I had to change the bags sooner. Nope! (Your original Litter Champ has a bag supply pre-filled and I had never had to replace it in over 6 months). No odor, no fuss. Opening the Litter Champ is easy, and it has a convenient bag cutter. Remove the contents (and it's odorless during this process) and tie the top, and drop in the garbage. Pull the plastic bag down, tie in a knot, close the lid and you are good to go again. It's that easy. In fact I found it A LOT EASIER THAN LITTER LOCKER. Many, many times easier. (Litter Locker is hard to dispose of the waste, and tying the new bag and threading it in the crank was a PAIN! Litter Champ has no such devices inside of it-it's an easy system!) You are going to save a TON OF MONEY using Litter Champ. To let you know when I used Litter Champ-I THREW AWAY LITTER LOCKER AWAY IN THE GARBAGE! If you are on a budget, and it's easier to use, go with Litter Champ! I don't know how those bags are made but you will not have any odor issues. Litter Champ Introduction-trust me you will love it! I have 2 cats, 3 litter boxes. I scoop several times a day using the doggie waste bags to gather litter and then putting it outside in garbage. I have tried different step on pails to collect the day's litter, in a back porch and just outside the house. Neither was good as they smell and collect flies even if sealed and making multiple trips a day outside in the winter is not appealing. Thus I purchased this item after research and watching youtube videos. It works as described. No real concerns with it as far as gathering used litter; I can use it for a week at a time. The dogie bags of soiled litter slide into the top trap door and get tucked away in the plastic bag in the device. No odor noted when opening or pushing the bags into the pail. Great solution to having to gather it outside or make lots of trips in and outside. ONE small problem, but should be expected; empty it outside. My first time I changed it, I opened it and grabbed the bag and cut it and then was blown over by the smell. YEP. Like a strong stale diaper pale odor. It went away quickly but still not something I want in the house again. It has a nice carry handle on it so next time I carry it outside and empty it; I spray with Lysol and also sprinkled baking soda into the new plastic. Working great again until the next time I empty it. 4 stars for the odor when removing the bag as they could maybe try to build in a way to twist the bag before emptying it. I will try this but so far have not been able to get the bag out if I twist it. Overall this is a handy collection device and it works as described.

I looooove litter champ. These bags perform far better at containing smell than litter genie. I switched to litter champ and won’t look back. They do have a bit of learning curve for installing. The trick is to leave the little paper seal on them until after you’ve positioned them. It’s fairly easy to change bags also.

It seemed hard to put in the genie, but after a few times , it’s easy. They hold up great, no leaking . The fit is good, and the size is purrfect for a weekly trash take out.

I’ve had the litter champ for years and really like it. It is really clean and easy to use. I highly recommend this product.

Use these all the time for my Champ disposal unit. I used to order here in the UK but they seem no longer to be available. This came from the USA and the packaging was different so I was concerned that they may not fit and had been changed in some way but my fears were dispelled when they arrived. You have to wait a couple of weeks for delivery so order early!
