This little unit works like a charm. It allows me to use my old cameras video card on my windows 10 pc which I could not do with the camera via cable connection since win 10 was not compatible with my old toshiba camera. Also I was able to use the smartMedia card with the reader to print photos at the drug store. The new drug store photo units would not accept the SmartMedia card. But with the reader I was able to use the USB port and have my photos printed. The price was great and shipment was as promised.

Works perfect with Olympus Camedia C-2020 memory cards. You can still get a Olympus camedia on line and at a low price. Then get this and upload the photos to newer windows systems.

I found an old digital camera that I have to my daughter but the original card reader was too old to be compatible with my current operating system. This one works perfectly!

It was with some trepidation I plugged in my 3.3 Volt 8 MB card and inserted in my Win 10 Computer's USB port.... I said a "Hail Mary" (figuratively speaking!) and lo and behold.... a miracle.... my pix of my D-600L Olympus from 2001 came up . Woo-hoo! I was worried it would only read the 5 volt cards (and still don't know if it does 'cause mine are all 3.3V. But, HEY, for 12 bucks I'm happier than a pig in ...... slops!

There are many readers listed on Amazon that use the phrase "Smart Media" but they don't read the old Smartmedia card (looks a bit like a standard SD card but much larger at 1.77"x 1.45" x 0.029" inch). It reads the small XD cards as well. Nice form factor, small but easy to use, is plug and play and worked on my old collection of Smartmedia cards without a hitch. It was nice to be able to recover digital photos taken 14 years ago.

Flash card sticks

Doesn't work most of the time.

Worked fine. Rescued old photos. No problems at all except reminds me how slooowwww computer flash-drives & readers used to be.
